    Front Desk Officer

    Job Description

    • We are looking to hire Front Desk Officers to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation.
    • Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.
    • Front Desk Officers responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations, and providing information about rooms, rates, and amenities. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
    • Manage online and phone reservations
    • Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
    • Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
    • Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
    • Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
    • Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
    • Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
    • Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
    • Maintain updated records of bookings and payments

    Qualifications

    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • A minimum of a year work experience as a receptionist with a reputable hotel brand
    • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
    • Highly responsible & reliable
    • Proficient in the use of Opera PMS software
    • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
    • Minimum of OND from a recognized institution

    Waitress

    Job Description

    The right Waiter/Waitress uplifts the dining experience for customers. We are looking for someone who will have the patience, personality, and perseverance to thrive in this role.

    What you will be doing:

    • Your responsibilities include greeting and serving customers, providing detailed information on menus, multi-tasking various front-of-the-house duties while following the hotel F&B operation standard.
    • Monitor and attend to guests needs in a fast-paced environment, be polite with guests and make sure they enjoy their meals.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining areas and service stations.
    • Effectively communicate with Kitchen Staff to make sure orders are accurate and delivered promptly.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of OND from a recognized institution
    • Minimum of 1 year work experience as a waitress in a standard hotel 
    • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
    • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
