    Grants Assistant

    The opportunity

    • The purpose of this role is to support the country Grants Administrative processes and management.
    • The role will maintain organization-wide adherence to meet internal and external grant management quality standards, donor guidelines, and related compliance processes, and management.

    About You

    We are looking for a candidate that possess the following:

    • A degree in Development Studies, Business Studies, or Social Science (Master’s degree or equivalent in international affairs, development or related subject will be an added advantage).
    • At least two-years’ experience working in project and/or grants management and proposal/business development/design.
    • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
    • Good communicator with strong organizational, time management and analytical skills.
    • Excellent inter-personal, cultural and diplomatic skills.
    • Strong writing and editing skills with close attention to detail.

    ECW MYRP Gender Advisor

    The Opportunity

    The Gender Advisor will work alongside all Education thematic leads to ensure the successful delivery of a quality gender transformative programme that tackle the root causes of inequality, responds to the needs of women and girls, men and boys in all their diversity, and challenges discriminatory gender norms and harmful practices.

    About You

    We are looking to recruit person (s) with:

    • Master’s Degree in relevant discipline in a field related to social sciences, gender studies, Humanitarian and/or equivalent experience gained.
    • A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in gender work with a humanitarian organisation.
    • Solid knowledge base and practical experience in gender mainstreaming, community level gender transformative approaches, protection and inclusion/disability.
    • Experience of managing the programme cycle, including assessments, proposal and report writing, monitoring and evaluation.
    • Experience in mainstreaming gender issues into education programs specially to realize high learning outcome in schools for girls
    • Experience in working in an insecure and politically sensitive environment
    • Strong technical background and experienced in education/EiE programming.
    • Experience working in a consortium a with organizations such as NRC, UNICEF and SCI.
    • Possess the capacity to strengthen gender in education programming.

    Food Security and Nutrition Project Coordinator

    The Opportunity

    The incumbent will be overall responsible for budget management (BVA, Cash forecast, budget projection), report preparation, follow-up of procurement, and providing technical support to the nutrition team to ensure smooth implementation of nutrition projects in the BAY States. This includes providing guidance and support to the team as well as ensuring proper coordination with other sectors and organizational functions.

    About You

    We are looking to recruit person (s) with:

    • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a discipline such as Medicine and Surgery, Nutrition, Public Health, or any other discipline relevant to development.
    • Master’s degree in Public Health, Nutrition, Health Planning and Management or any other related course will be an added advantage.
    • Previous experience in a related position for at least 3 years, including managing Nutrition Programs in the Emergency Context.
    • Over 3 years of experience managing CMAM/IYCF interventions.
    • Excellent experience in Microsoft Office.
    • Excellent report-writing skill is an additive
    • Fluent in written and spoken English and Hausa
    • Commitment to and understanding of PLAN’S aims, values and principles.
