    Inventory Officer

    Job Description

    • The inventory officer will be responsible for preparing the purchase orders, receiving, storing, issuing the goods, managing the stock levels and giving out the supplies from the stock.
    • Preparing the inventories and maintaining the stock records, using computerized systems for entering the records.
    • Checking the supply invoices with the purchase orders.
    • Coordinates the purchasing, inventory and warehousing functions.
    • Research on the sources of supply and is responsible for obtaining quotes from the suppliers as well.
    • To maintain record of receipts as well as issuance of items that are going out of the warehouse so as to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • To be involved in reconciliation of physical stock with the stock in the system.
    • Use software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory.
    • Analyze data to anticipate future needs.
    • Oversee that the arrangement of goods has been done in an orderly system within the stock location system so that the stock can be stored easily and retrieved whenever the need to do arises.
    • Ensure that the stocks stay physically protected in the warehouse.
    • To undertake the function of stock taking and confirm the periodic stock on a regular basis by working closely with the designated staff members.
    • To supervise the offloading process, the subsequent arrangement of merchandise, material, etcand consignment so that it can be accessed and identified easily.
    • To ensure the correct and timely valuation of the inventory.
    • To be involved in directing and managing procedures related to offloading, packing and unpacking
    • Preparing the reports on adjustments done to inventories that may be damaged, spoilt, etc.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of five years experience in Inventory Management in a Manufacturing sector.
    • Strong research, organizational, and planning skills
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point)
    • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Effective organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Preferred: Proximity to Ojodu-Berger.

    Salary

    • N120,000 monthly.

    HR Learning and Development Officer

    Major Responsibilities

    • Organizing training materials and overseeing training programs, as well as ensuring that the costs of planned programs don’t exceed the provided budget.
    • Monitor and evaluate the progress of trainees, work with department managers to assess training and development needs, provide senior management with trainees’ program reports.
    • Assisting with the design of training materials for existing employees and new hires, as well as resolving any training-related issues that may arise.
    • Researching new HR technologies and training software solutions, and expected to stay up to date with the latest developments and news in the Human Resources field.
    • Identify training and development needs of all the departments within the company.
    • Work with department managers to develop training programs and ensure they deliver results.
    • Track and assess the progress of trainees and provide reports to the senior management.
    • Research the latest HR technologies and training software
    • Answer employee questions and inquiries related to training and development programs and resolve any training-related issues if they arise.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a relevant field.
    • Minimum of two years of experience as an HR Training and Development Officer or a similar role.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong research, organizational, and planning skills
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point)
    • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
