    IT Governance Risk and Compliance Analyst

    About the Role

    • The IT Governance Risk and Compliance Analyst on the Information Security team at Moniepoint will be responsible and jointly accountable with CISO for the management, oversight and coordination of the Information Technology Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance projects and programmes.
    • You will also be will be responsible for the identification, assessment, risk response, mitigation, control, monitoring, reporting, and recommending remediation for current and emerging Information Technology risks and controls.

    How Will You Create Impact?
    Governance:

    • Ensure all IT policies and standards are defined, approved and up to date.
    • Identify IT areas without IT policy and establish same for the IT unit.
    • Execute / enforce / comply with Moniepoint policies and procedures.
    • Evaluate IT units against IT policies, procedures and Central Bank of Nigeria/Industry standards.
    • Moniepoint audit and regulatory audit - Engagement with relevant Moniepoint Staff, CBN, Consultants, QSAs, Other auditors/ regulatory bodies and respond to request and audit queries.
    • Fix the identified Gaps / Exceptions from the evaluation / audit with the accountable unit Heads
    • Oversee control related aspects of process changes and improvement, technology upgrades and new technology implementations. Ensure that the control structure remains effective.

    Risk Management:

    • IT Risk Management – Risk Identification, assessment and planning, response and mitigation, monitoring, tracking and reporting.
    • Risk and control self-assessments process ownership and management - work with the responsible unit heads to ensure closure of risk items on the RCSA register.
    • Work closely with unit heads to identify and assess risk and develop controls and mitigation strategies for risk.
    • Participate in technology projects and programmes to identify potential risks to the organization and recommend mitigation and opportunities for improvement.
    • Eliminate, avoid, share, accept and controlling the identified IT risk.

    Compliance:

    • Work with IT management team to ensure that the organization consistently attains high levels of compliance with all relevant laws and regulations as well as industry best practices, such as PCI-DSS Compliance/Certification and ISO Certifications (ISO 27001, ISO 20000 and ISO 22301.
    • Legal and Regulatory Compliance of statutory policies and procedures.
    • Management of audit findings, risk and control department relationship.
    • Management of CBN standards compliance projects.
    • Responsible for procedures and controls to assure compliance with applicable regulatory and legal requirements as well as good business practices.
    • Manage and ensure IT comply with the following bank and regulatory agencies on Information Technology related regulations.
    • Oversee control related aspects of technology process changes and improvement, technology upgrades and new technology implementations. Ensure that the control structure remains effective as the organization changes.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • A Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related Degree
    • Possesses relevant certifications like Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) , Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
    • Minimum of 3 years experience in information security/technology risk reviews across enterprise operating systems, databases, banking applications and networks.
    • Keen eye for detail.
    • Highly motivated, energetic and self-learner.
    • Ability to work with little supervision and meet strict deadlines.
    • Must be results-oriented, setting high standards, and intent on making things happen.
    • Takes the initiative within given parameters with freedom to act.

    Hardware POS Technician

    Job Purpose

    • The POS Technician is saddled with the responsibility of repairing, supporting, and maintaining the Point of Sales (POS) and related devices.
    • Work involves maintenance and support of all POS terminals ( Linux and Android, Mpos, and Kiosk) within our distribution network.

    Responsibilities

    • Work closely within the hardware department to manage the end-to-end repair process.
    • Provide second level support on hardware related issues.
    • Manage & Coordinate Terminal Repair Centers across our network
    • Perform other duties as delegated and assigned by his/her Line Manager

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a B.Sc. / HND
    • At least 2 years of experience in a related role.
    • Technical ability to carry out repairs on PAX, Aisino, Smartpeck and Topwise Terminals.
    • Experience with the Agency banking business would be an added advantage.
    • Good computer skills. Must have knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

    Cloud Security Engineer

    Job Purpose

    • We are looking to hire a Cloud Security Engineer to work with the Chief Information Security Officer to maintain a secure and reliable cloud environment safeguarding the information assets of Moniepoint and also utilizing information and related technology to achieve the business objectives.

    Responsibilities

    • Creating cloud-based infrastructure and programs including implementing identity and access management and configuring cloud environments securely.
    • Performing penetration testing and threat simulations to identify potential risks.
    • Managing cryptography and encryption in the cloud.
    • Monitoring for and responding to incidents in the cloud environment.
    • Keeping cloud infrastructure current, making recommendations, and continually improving cloud security technologies.
    • Analyzing, designing, and developing programs, shell scripts, tests, and infrastructure automation capabilities.
    • Working with analysts, engineers, and data scientists across the organization to continually improve cyber resilience.
    • Work collaboratively with wider Information Security team. This would include working with: The Incident Response team, assisting with incidents; and with the Security Consultants to provide additional technical knowledge.
    • Take part in post incident reviews and propose engineering resolution to improve results in any future recurrence.
    • Recognise the telemetry for security products will increasingly be curated in the cloud and be prepared to develop API endpoints and connections to collect and collate this knowledge.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related degree .
    • Relevant cloud certifications including: Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) ,AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Engineer Associate.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in information security/technology risk reviews across enterprise operating systems, databases, banking applications and networks.
    • Experience with designing, implementing secure and highly available infrastructure, services, data storage in hybrid-cloud or commercial cloud environments such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
    • Hands of experience with a least 1 of the main cloud vendors (Amazon Web Services, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
    • Experience of Cloud Security Tools.
    • Excellent knowledge of Information Security principles and an understanding of the Cyber Kill Chain, MITRE ATT& CK and other information security defence and intelligence frameworks.
    • Experience in scripting languages like Python, Ruby-on-Rails, Javascript, building and consuming Application Program Interfaces (APIs)/micro-services.

    About the Role

    • We are looking for an Application Monitoring Officer to provide enterprise-level monitoring to our services and systems.
    • You will be responsible for the stability, integrity, and operation of our production systems by monitoring, configuring and driving optimizations.
    • You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues in an accurate and timely manner.

    • Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role
    • Basic Understanding of OOP concepts
    • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
    • Familiarity with basic network concepts and tools.
    • Experience troubleshooting using stack traces and log file.
    • Experience interacting with APIs and troubleshooting related requests.
    • Experience being on-call and can jump into a complex situation and make sense of and communicate clearly to stakeholders what's going on.
    • In depth knowledge of SQL databases particularly MYSQL

    Merchant Onboarding and Integration Officer

    Job Purpose

    • The Merchant Onboarding and Integrations Officer is responsible for onboarding merchants integrating with Monnify.
    • He/she will work closely with merchants in ensuring their onboarding and Integration process is seamless and hitch-free.
    • He/she will also be required to work with other teams in escalations.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Review Merchant’s KYC and ensure all documents provided are in line with Standard Operating Procedures and Regulatory Requirements
    • Work with the Compliance team in activation of Merchant’s accounts.
    • Reviewing Logged tickets by the Customer Support team and ensuring complete resolution of such tickets.
    • Monitor Support Channels (Zendesk, E-mails, Whatsapp, Freshchat, Skype, Slack) for Onboarding/Integration escalations, and treat such requests in a timely manner
    • Liaise with the sales team to properly understand the Merchant’s use case in order to provide the necessary API’s required for Merchant’s Integration.
    • Follow up with Merchants (Bi-weekly-Semi) to check in on their Integration and provide assistance/support where necessary.
    • Work hand in hand with other teams i.e technical product team to escalate technical issues experienced
      by merchants and also monitor such requests till resolution.
    • Configure Merchant fees and charging profiles. Also enabling changes to merchant contracts as advised by the sales team.
    • Handling other responsibilities as assigned i.e. Whitelisting IP addresses/ Approval of change of Settlement Account Requests by Merchants etc.
    • Work with the Product Manager/ Product team and other internal stakeholders to make any product changes that would improve customer experience.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree
    • 2+ years preferably.
