    VIE - Deputy Project Manager

    Job description

    Mission: 

    • He/She contributes to the technical and economic success of the project by ensuring compliance with the objectives set in terms of results, deadlines, quality, social policy, QHSSE and company values.
    • He/She is in support of the Local Project Coordinator who is in the field.
    • He/She is based in the office with regular Offshore missions.

    Main activities: 

    • Ensure the achievement of QHSE results and proper application of HSE policy at the subsidiary.
    • Must be and must remain well informed of rules, instructions and procedures regarding QHSE.
    • Implements and ensures implementation of SPIE OGS QHSE rules, instructions and procedures.
    • Makes proposals for the continuous improvement of QHSE provisions.
    • Draws up noncompliance and/or observation reports when noting any malfunction or risk situation and transmits them to the local QHSE department.
    • Immediately alerts any person who caused a risk situation, on noting the occurrence of any such situation.
    • Adopts an eco-approach at all times in the exercise of his/her duties.
    • Assist the project manager in setting up the technical and human resources required to carry out the business.
    • Assist in Managing the human and equipment resources required to perform contracts.
    • Checks logistics organisation in collaboration with the logistics team.
    • Co-ordinates personnel administration (rotations, clearances, training, etc.).
    • Makes forward plans for personnel movements, mobilisations and means.
    • Participate in site preparation meetings and site meetings.
    • Prepare supplier consultation files for the purchasing department.
    • Participate into the application of the methods, the quality and the realization of the work in the respect of the processes.
    • Manage subcontractors by checking the progress and quality of the work.
    • Apply standards, norms, standards, customer prescriptions in the workplace.
    • Ensure contract cost-effectiveness.

    Specific activities: 

    • Focal point and leader for all Innovation Actions in line with Contract.
    • May participate in the preparation and management point.
    • May be led to propose innovations or/and participate in prototyping, improvement of know-how.

    Profile

    • 1 to 2 years of experience in a position of Engineer, project management or young graduate of an engineering school.
    • Knowledge in the maintenance/engineering field is a plus.

    Well Service Field Supervisor (M/F) M/F

    Job description

    • SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for a Well Service Field Supervisor to join its work force in Nigeria.

    His responsibilities:

    • Shall be responsible for the safe execution of well intervention operation - Coiled tubing (CT), pumping, Slickline, Electric line, Wellhead & XMT maintenance
    • Responsible for Permit To Work (PTW) preparation and follow up in order to deliver seamless operations.
    • Actively participate in the JRA process and wellsite toolbox talks with site team.
    • Shall have a wellsite responsibility for the planning, coordination, supervision, execution, and evaluation of a wider scope of well intervention operations.
    • Implement controls and processes to safeguard the technical integrity of the well, economic interests and reputation of COMPANY assets, in respect of well intervention operations.
    • Shall ensure required well barriers are in place for any form of interventions operation
    • Lead and supervise specialized teams in the execution of onsite well intervention & integrity as well as Wellhead & XMT maintenance activities to deliver maximum value whilst maintaining Client's HSE standards.
    • Provide input to, and liaise with, superintendent (or RSES-D) to develop and generate suitable well intervention reporting.
    • Organize Well intervention, Wellhead & XMT maintenance activities, in accordance with the planning and under the supervision of well intervention superintendent.
    • Organize site logistics related with service equipment and personnel
      Shall have an On-site functional responsibility for up to 6 to 25 persons during intervention., Wellhead & XMT maintenance operations.
    • Prepare and follow up well intervention tools Wellhead & XMT maintenance, equipment and spare parts Inventory owned by COMPANY
      Shall be involved in onshore system integration testing (SIT) at contractor operational base
    • Attention to detail is required to ensure the program objectives are achieved in a safe and efficient manner. Continually analyze operational risks and confirm that mitigation measures are in place.
    • Ensure all material required to perform the operation are mobilized on site as per plan
    • Responsible for clear and concise reporting of all Well Service activities such as daily reports, material/personnel transfers, incidents and near misses on-site

    Profile

    Qualifications/Experience/Skills Required

    • Shall possess a minimum of 10 years oilfield experience in Well intervention operations (Coiled tubing (CT), pumping, Slickline, Electric line, Wellhead & XMT maintenance). If applicant is with Masters in Oil & Gas related course from a reputable school, then 3 years of experience in well services related position shall be considered.
    • Minimum of HND or BSc / BEng. in Engineering or sciences.
    • Shall have been a supervisor for similar operations for a minimum of 5 years or well services engineer for 2 years.
    • Shall have a good knowledge of Halliburton, Schlumberger, Baker and Weatherford Well intervention equipment.
    • Good knowledge of other well intervention operations such as Coiled tubing (CT), pumping, Slickline, Electric line, Wellhead & XMT maintenance
    • Shall possess a valid SAS /THUET certificate and Annual medical examination
    • Shall possess a valid OSP (Offshore Safety Permit)
    • Category A, Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS)
    • Shall possess a valid International Well Control Forum (IWCF) Certificate for Well Intervention Pressure Control - Supervisor/Supt Level-4 covering all the modules below

      • Snubbing Operations
    • Shall be PC literate with good use of MS office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint) in a Windows environment.
    • Good oral, written presentation, and communication skill in English language
