    Business Manager.

    Our client is an agroscience international group and was established in 1991. They have grown into a leading player in the agriculture industry. They are passionately committed to empowering the Nigerian farmer with superior agro- inputs like crop protection products, seeds, fertilizers, and knowledge that will enable these farmers to increase their yield and livelihood in a sustainable manner. They need a BUSINESS MANAGER – FORMULATION PLANT

    Job responsibilities.

    The Manager shall be responsible for overseeing business growth efforts on behalf of the company.

    Duties will include conducting market research to identify new business opportunities and client leads, coordinating with company leadership to conduct risk assessments, and maintaining beneficial relationships with clients, suppliers and other business partners.

    Cost Control:

    • Ensure optimum cost control for the entire business by identifying business opportunities.
    • Working with the R&D team, Identify and implement continuous improvements initiatives for the formulation plant, including recipe improvements, and other marketing related initiatives.
    • Identify business waste and block leakages.

    Productivity

    • Organize and coordinate business operations in ways that ensure maximum productivity
    • Design and implement business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of goals
    • Lead & supervise the business operations employees to ensure productivity efficiency of operations and providing direction on how best to handle different tasks while maintaining customer satisfaction.
    • Assess overall company performance against objectives
    • Drives the manufacturing strategy of the business. Perform Short, Mid & Long-term capacity planning etc- to ensure seamless execution.
    • Assessing and identifying new opportunities for growth in current and prospective markets.
    • Engages the sales, planning and market facing team to be able to deliver the right products that serves the customer needs.
    • Maintain plan for forecasting, targeting, and attaining sales
    • Ensure Finished goods (FG) availability to support sales ambition (Zero stock out situation).
    • Maintain relationships with partners/vendors/suppliers
    • Create capture tactics for sales targets that are in line with the objectives of the practice area and the business model.
    • Developing skill sets of team members, onboarding plans, operator trainings (both internal & external interventions as required) etc.
    • Ensure that the company has the adequate and suitable resources to complete its activities (e.g., people, material, equipment etc.)
    • Identify areas of manufacturing Wastage and drive them down.
    • Ensure that manufacturing related market complaints are tracked and driven down to near zero as much as possible.
    • Ensure that system and analytical processes, documentation, testing are done, and documents kept.
    • Ensure a robust cGMP, and relevant ISO certification are done, and team are abreast with current manufacturing standards.

    Drives Inbound, In processing and outbound manufacturing quality.

    Oversee & supervise engagement with Regulators.

    • Oversee engage and supervise issues around safety and regulatory engagement with regulators,
    • ministries, and other environmental agencies.

    Job Requirement.

    People Management Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second class upper in business, management, or related field
    • 7-15 Years of relevant business management experience in manufacturing environment, Chemical/Formulation plant or similar role.
    • Average of 10- 15 years Leadership experience in a similar role in an Herbicide Formulation or Similar Manufacturing Industry

    Financial Analyst

    Our client is an indigenous private sector player with 3 decades of experience in Nigeria. They are into manufacturing, FMCG and integrated agricultural value chain group The subsidiary company has acquired a total of 15,000ha in Nasarawa state to run a fully integrated Sugarcane value chain business, starting from feedstock cultivation to production of Ethanol and other products. They need a FINANCIAL ANALYST.

    Job Summary:

    The Financial analyst’s responsibility is primarily to analyse & consolidate all financial reports for reporting to all key stakeholders, especially in relation to business plan strategy, budgets & periodic financials etc. The Financial analyst analyst will be responsible for collecting information, performing research, and analyzing business plans. He/ She will continuously collect and interpret data, such as company financial statements, price developments, currency adjustments, and yield fluctuations.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Stakeholder Management:

    • The financial analyst will be responsible for communicating with the company’s executives and other stakeholders Financial Information relating to the businesses and group
    • He/ She will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that help build positive relationships between the company and its various stakeholders
    • The financial analyst will manage and coordinate presentations and reports for board meetings, company’s events, or conferences
    • He/ She will collaborate and make recommendations in executing the investors relations program including strategy, operating plan and budget
    • He/ She will develop briefings for senior management ahead of major corporate events
    • He/ She will attend internal meetings to gain understanding of the key issues in the business

    Financial Analysis:

    • The analyst will monitor financial markets to identify potential opportunities or risks for the company’s business
    • He/ She will examine and assess economic and market trends, earnings prospects, financial statements and various other indicators and factors to determine suitable investment strategies
    • He/ She will analyze and summarize financial as well as operational information developed by third-parties about the industry
    • He/ She will analyze and critically evaluate monthly, quarterly and annual financial performance of the business
    • The analyst will monitor sell-side analyst coverage and other market trends for clients, competitors and related events using a variety of inputs and tools
    • He/ She will ensure daily reports and ongoing monitoring is delivered on a timely basis
    • He/ She will provide analysis of major events related to capital markets (earnings calls, investor days, conferences, major transaction announcements)
    • He/ She will make recommendations based on competitive intelligence from the street, relative stock price movements, and own analysis
    • He/ She will compile advisory reports and make informed recommendations on new investment opportunities and funds that could enhance or diversify portfolios
    • He/ She will review fiscal consensus and manage model founded on sell-side analysts’ forecasts
    • The analyst will support development of evaluation of sell-side financial and research models

    JOB REQUIREMENT.

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Finance, or relevant field (Minimum of second class upper).
    • Must be a Chartered Accountant (ACCA or ACA).
    • A CFA/ MBA or equivalent postgraduate management degree will be an advantage
    • Applicant must have a Minimum of 3-5 Years of Experience in Investments
