• Greet and escort customers to their tables
• Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
• Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses
• Inform customers about the day’s specials
• Offer menu recommendations upon request
• Up-sell additional products when appropriate
• Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software,order  slips or by memorization
• Check customers’ IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
• Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff
• Serve food and drink orders
• Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
• Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area
• Deliver checks and collect bill payments
• Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning
• Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties)
• Follow all relevant health department regulations
• Provide excellent customer service to guests

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Waiter or Waitress
• Hands-on experience with cash register and ordering information system (e.g. Revel POS or Toast POS)
• Basic math skills
• Attentiveness and patience for customers
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Active listening and effective communication skills
• Team spirit
• Flexibility to work in shifts
• High school diploma; food safety training is a plus

• Keep front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material (pens, forms, paper etc.)
• Greet and welcome guests
• Answer questions and address complaints
• Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or keep messages
• Receive letters, packages etc. and distribute them
• Prepare outgoing mail by drafting correspondence, securing parcels etc.
• Check, sort and forward emails
• Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary
• Keep updated records and file
• Take up other duties as assigned (travel arrangements, schedules etc.)

Requirements

• Proven experience as front desk representative, agent or relevant position
• Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer etc.)
• Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping
• Proficient in English (oral and written)
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
• Strong communication and people skills
• Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Problem-solving skills
• Customer service orientation
• High School diploma (HND, BSc) additional qualifications will be a plus

• Crafting and serving a wide range of cocktails, from classic recipes to innovative, custom creations tailored to individual customer preferences.
• Managing inventory and ordering supplies, including spirits, mixers, garnishes, and bar tools, to ensure the bar is well-stocked and able to meet demand.
• Designing and updating the cocktail menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current trends to keep the offerings fresh and exciting.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies to ensure a safe and appealing environment.
• Engaging with customers, providing recommendations, and sharing knowledge about the history and nuances of various spirits and cocktails to enhance their experience.
• Handling cash and card transactions, ensuring accurate billing, and managing tips in accordance with company policies.
• Training and mentoring junior bar staff in mixology techniques, customer service, and bar management practices to maintain high standards of service.
• Participating in and representing the establishment at cocktail competitions and industry events to showcase skills and promote the venue.

Requirements

• Alcohol awareness and knowledge of responsible service
• Minimum of 2 year experience in the same position from a reputable restaurant
• You must be proactive, adaptable team player who enjoys taking initiative to drive for results
• Eager to learn & progress, responsible with the willingness to take ownership
• To ensure proper mixing, blending, of drinks
• Education in hospitality, culinary arts, or a related field can be beneficial.
