    Team Lead, Ethics, Policies, and Awareness

    Job Description

    • Compliance Monitoring: Review, evaluate, and monitor business activities to ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and ethical standards, proposing frameworks to address identified gaps.
    • Awareness and Training Programs: Develop and deploy comprehensive awareness, training, and compliance programs across the company on related policies, ensuring widespread understanding and adoption.
    • Policy Education: Prepare, review, and update training materials on corporate governance policies such as Anti-Bribery, Anti-Fraud, Gifts & Hospitality, Conflict of Interests, and Whistleblowing.
    • Investigations and Policy Updates: Conduct and support investigations into misconduct, review investigation reports, and collaborate to update and maintain integrity-related policies.

    Requirements

    • A degree or equivalent in Law, Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
    • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in ethics, compliance, or a related field.

    Process Safety Coordinator

    Job Description

    • Ensure the compliance of established process safety standards and regulation within the asset for all including contractors and local contractors.
    • Develop and implement process safety management programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international safety standards and regulations. E.g., OSHA, ISO 14001, etc.
    • Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments, including HAZOP, HAZID, and other safety studies, to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation measures.
    • Investigate process safety incidents and near misses, conducting root cause analyses and implementing lessons learned to prevent recurrence.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
    • Possession of relevant professional certification e.g., NEBOSH is highly desirable.
    • Possess a minimum of 5 (five) years of experience in process safety management within the upstream oil & gas industry.
    • Strong knowledge of process safety principles, methodologies, and industry standards, including OSHA PSM and API RP 752/753.
    • Experience in conducting hazard identification and risk assessment, including HAZOP, LOPA, and SIL studies.
    • Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis methodologies
    • Willingness to travel to field locations and work in challenging conditions as required

    Operations Planning Lead

    Job Description

    • Develop and implement detailed operational plans and schedules, ensuring alignment with JV objectives, timelines, and budget constraints.
    • Coordinate with Drilling, Completions, and Production teams to ensure integrated planning.
    • Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of resources for production activities
    • Monitor and analyze operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to optimize efficiency and productivity.
    • Liaise with government agencies, including NUPRC, NNPC, NAPIMS, NCDMB etc. to ensure all completion activities adhere to regulatory requirements, company policies and industry standards.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management or a related field. Advanced degree (Master's) in a relevant discipline is preferred.
    • Possess minimum 10 (ten) years active experience in Operations Planning within an oil-producing asset.
    • Possession of relevant professional certification, e.g., PMP is an advantage
    • Understanding of wells operations, production management, logistics, and supply chain management
    • Proven track record of leading and managing complex operational projects with an oil-producing asset.
    • Experience with performance metrics analysis and operational optimization techniques
    • Experience in working in both onshore and offshore environments

    Cost Engineer

    Job Description

    • Managing and optimizing the financial performance of projects within the asset.
    • Develop detailed cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and other expenses, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project objectives using appropriate tools and systems.
    • Work closely with project teams to develop cost-effective strategies and solutions, optimizing resource utilization and minimizing waste.
    • Monitor and analyze project budgets, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions to maintain financial control.
    • Serve as an advisor to project teams on cost control principles and tools for an informed decision making.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Quantity Surveying or a related field. Advanced degree (Master’s) in a relevant discipline is preferred.
    • Possession of professional certification (e.g., AACE, CCP) is an added advantage.
    • Possess minimum 7 (seven) years of experience in cost engineering or financial management within the upstream oil and gas industry or an EPC company.
    • In-depth knowledge of upstream oil and gas cost management principles, project management methodologies, and best practices.
    • Proficiency in the use of cost estimation and financial analysis software such as Oracle, SAP, or equivalent.
    • Strong numerical accuracy skills with ability to interpret financial data to provide actionable insights.

    Production Geoscientist

    Job Description

    • Monitoring the changes in the reservoirs that occurs during production and advise accordingly to ensure maximum optimization of the production.
    • Conduct geological and geophysical analyses to optimize reservoir performance and production.
    • Develop and maintain static and dynamic reservoir models.
    • Identify and prioritize opportunities for production enhancement and field development.
    • Monitor production performance and analyze subsurface data to identify opportunities for production enhancement and reservoir optimization.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geophysics, or a related field. Advanced degree (master’s degree) in a relevant discipline is preferred.
    • Possess a minimum of 5 (five) years of experience in production geology, production optimization or reservoir characterization in an upstream oil and gas company.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex subsurface data and develop accurate geological models.
    • Strong understanding of petroleum geology, reservoir characterization, and production optimization.
    • Proficiency in geoscience software and tools for geological modeling and data analysis.
    • Experience in the Niger Delta/Rivers region is essential
