• Create and execute/coordinate technical test plans for application change/new deployment and upgrades

• Manage work-flow processes, document weekly reports per functional area and provide input to monitor and execute business requirements

Education:

• First degree in Computer Science or any related discipline 
• Fluent in English 

Experience:

• 3 -7 years' experience including:
• Minimum of 4 years working experience working In Information Technology Roles. Such roles include Software Delivery, Software Solution Architecture and Design – Using Software Development Methodologies Like Agile, Scrum, Kanban, 
• Knowledge and use of JIRA, BPM, Unified Modelling Language (UML) etc.
• Experience in Solution Development and Integration- Java/J2EE Platform, SOA (REST/WSDL/XSD/XL), Enterprise System Integrations (B2B, B2C) Web Design & Development
• Knowledge of Telecommunications Applications - CRM, Billing, Acquisition, Payment Solutions, Value Added Services (VAS), Cloud Computing
• Good knowledge of POS, Kioks and Mobile products
• Knowledge of Ecommerce, remittances and payment platforms and integration
• Knowledge of banking and insurance products and integration
• Experience in translating business requirements into specifications that will aid quality delivery

Description:

• Support the development of the risk management roadmap that delivers increased assurance, effectiveness, and efficiency regarding the safeguarding of Technology assets and Product lines 
• Responsible for the management and governance of the Risk Management Program and will work to embed functional risk management in the Technology & Information Security domains 
• Ensure adherence to directives guidelines & frameworks issued by MTN Group 
• Communicate the importance of Technology & Cyber risk throughout the business
• Lead functional and process risk assessments workshops to identify key risks and mitigation activities 
• Identify emerging risks within the Technology landscape and report to relevant stakeholders, as appropriate 
• Responsible for the identification and assessment of Technology, Product and Project risks, including necessary escalations and developing effective solutions to identified risks 
• Develop fit for purpose solutions that meet all business requirements and that lead to a best possible scenario in avoiding disruptions to the availability, scalability, quality, and efficiency of business products and information systems (internally) and risks emerging from external environments (including cyber attacks, data breaches, and unplanned IT and Telecom outages) 
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing policies and procedures, and work with business units and the Lead Information Security Officer to initiate enhancements as identified 
• Support the execution of the Technology Risk Management program for within the second line of defense model, to align with MTN Group’s overarching Risk Management Framework 
• Support the oversight of the testing of Technology Risk Strategies on an ongoing basis to verify if they are relevant, appropriate and remain fit for purpose

Description:

• Develop internal controls adequate for FinTech’s evolving risk landscape
• Ensure implementation, compliance & adherence to the standards, policies, guidelines & processes defined by Group Finco Risk & Compliance team, and MTN Group Risk & Compliance team as applicable
• Define, implement, document, assess and monitor key internal controls mitigating material business risks
• Maintain appropriate level of communication on Internal Control matters to support the framework and ensure appropriate ownership and accountabilities from management and managers
• Provide managers and management with the relevant Internal Control methodological support operationalizing all FinTech compliance agendas/relationships as well as helping ensure compliance to internal processes and policies, applicable laws and regulations
• Develop adequate training material on the internal control objectives, approach and methodology
• Manage the impact of potential changes driven by the regulators, industry, marketplace, and/or legal environment and assist in devising strategy to influence for embedding appropriate controls to mitigate the potential risks
• Work closely with manager on all risk management, compliance, ethics management, fraud, BCP/DR related matters, ensuring regular controls for each of these are in place

• Ensure that control deficiencies are considered in the Risk Register and appropriate remediation plans are identified, agreed with process/control owners, tracked, and reported on

Education:

Experience:

• 3 - 7 Years' experience including:
• Experience in Fintech, banking or Telecom 
• Experience in process and financial control issues, compliance with regulatory requirements, and risk management and control improvement within a Fintech product environment
• Experience in Internal controls oversight, Fraud Investigation, Risk Management and Audit, and Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management (RAFM)
• Understanding of Institute of Internal Auditors standards and COSO, ERM and Internal Control Frameworks
• Experience working in a global/multinational enterprise with a good understanding of emerging markets
