Responsibilities

• Implement academic policies and the subject curriculum to ensure pupils receive the highest standards of education
• Ensure high knowledge of curriculum content
• Create weekly lesson plans in line with curriculum
• Prepare learning materials
• Teach pupils related subject using a variety of lesson delivery methods
• Give regular class work and homework to assess how learning objectives are being met
• Ensure pupils’ classwork and homework is marked
• Continuously track and record individual pupils’ performance and progress
• Ensure pupils receive regular feedback on improvement areas and progress
• Uphold Kids’ Court policies on pupils
• Promote personal and social development of class pupils and foster positive attitudes among them
• Be aware of and make provision for students who are AEN/SEN, very able, LAC or who have particular individual development needs
• Take responsibility for the effective, efficient and safe use of learning resources and equipment
• Take responsibility for own professional development.

Responsibilities

• Drive assigned company vehicles to pick or drop pupils, employees, guests or as directed
• Deliver important documents to required destinations. Ensure that all deliveries are signed and delivered to the correct recipient
• Drive vehicle for official travel and or as requested
• Handle company vehicles carefully and transport people with safety in mind at all times
• Stay up-to-date with all road and traffic laws and observe them at all times
• Assist the Admin Officer to ensure vehicle insurance and registrations are up-to-date
• Log official trips, daily mileage, fuel consumption, oil changes, etc.
• Be willing to work long and irregular hours, shift duty and on public holidays as required.

Health and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with the school’s health and safety policies when operating company vehicle
• Alcohol must not be consumed or present whilst on duty
• Ensure vehicle is well secured, kept clean, tidy and in good working condition at all times
• Ensure vehicle is given regular and day-to-day maintenance checks: check oil, water, battery, brakes, tires
• Ensure vehicle repairs are carried out properly
• Report issues with cars requiring repairs.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Check car oil, water, battery, brakes and tires each morning before driving vehicle
• Clean cars each morning before school bus pick up
• Log daily trips, daily mileage, fuel consumption and oil changes.

Monthly Responsibilities:

• Check for when vehicle requires maintenance and inform the Admin Manager.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification with relevant work experience.
