    Accounting Officer

    Job Description

    • Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive AccountingOfficer to join the finance team. As an AccountingOfficer, you will be responsible for managing the financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of our accounting operations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments.
    • Manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
    • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records and resolve discrepancies.
    • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
    • Monitor and report on company expenses, ensuring they are within budget and properly recorded.
    • Prepareand filetax returns, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations and deadlines.
    • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
    • Oversee the management of petty cash, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
    • Manage relationships with vendors, ensuring timely payments and resolving any issues related to invoicing.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • 2-4 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Professional ACCA orICAN certification is a plus but not required.

    • Oversee all aspects of factory operations, from production planning and process optimization to quality control and workforce management.
    • Ensure that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

    • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
    • Ability to think strategically while also being hands-on with day-to-day operations.
    • Demonstrated ability to drive change and improve operational efficiency.
    • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
