    Waiter / Waitress

    Job Summary

    • Ensure that allguestsare served to thehotelstandard in the Restaurant / Bar / Lounge areas. Display the highest standards ofhospitalityand welcome at all times within all food and beverage areas.
    • Takes orders for, and serves (where applicable, prepares) food and beverages to guests as per the hotel's standards in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner.

    Responsibilities

    • Greets guests and presents them with themenu.
    • Informs guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any.
    • Suggest food and beverages to the guest and also try toupsell.
    • Take food and beverage orders from the guest on the order taking pads or on the handheld Point of sale (POS) system.
    • Obtaining revenues,issuingreceipts, accepting payments, returning the change.
    • Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.
    • Filling in for absent staff as needed
    • Punch the order on the POS machine and make sure to enter the special requirements made by the guest while ordering the food. Eg: No Garlic, less spicy etc, Without egg etc.
    • Communicateto the guest and assist with their queries.
    • Server food and beverages to the guest as per thecourseof order.
    • Observe guests and ensure their satisfaction with the food and service.
    • Promptly respond to guests with any additional requests.
    • Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering
    • dessertsand drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.
    • Prepare mixed drinks for service to your customer's table.
    • Properly open and pour wine at the tableside.
    • Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
    • Understands and can communicate products and services available at theresort.
    • Must have some familiarity with basic cooking skills.
    • Help other areas of the restaurant such as answering telephones and completing financialtransactions.
    • Print closing report and drop the cash with thefront office/accountsdepartment.

    Requirements
    Education:

    • National Diploma (ND) in Hospitality Management or other related field.

    Experience:

    • Previous serving experience required.
    • Excellent oral communication skills required.
    • Positive interpersonal skills required.

    Hotel Cost Controller

    Responsibilities

    • Assist the Financial Controller/Heads of Departments in auditing & identifying specified costs in order to ensure that the appropriate internal control procedures are in place and followed and that equipment and resources are employed in the most effective manner.
    • Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes. Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures.
    • Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information. Maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data. Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using Opera, and/or computers.
    • Prepare, maintain, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables. Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified. Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements according to company procedures.
    • Cost controller will be full time employed to look after the stock movements of food and beverage items in the inventory both in-store and in operations.
    • Supervision and involvement in Spot checks, monthly complete stock-taking in all the stores, all the beverage outlets’ month-end inventories, menu costing, cost savings initiatives, review and placing orders for general stores, movement of general stores supplies based on occupancy level, month end preparation of journal vouchers, assisting purchase manager in the job and acting on behalf of purchase manager while he/she is on leave, manage the team of storekeeper and receiving staff, account the complimentary checks, officers meals, staff café meals etc are part of duties and responsibilities.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess B.Sc Degrees with 3 - 5 years relevant work experience.
