    Dance / Music Instructor

    Responsibilities

    • Teaching general styles of music.
    • Teaching classical piano, practical and theory.
    • Teaching singing to students from beginner to advanced level.
    • Incorporating musical instruments and movement in lessons.
    • Planning and implementing a program of instruction and lesson plans.
    • Preparing students for school concerts and planned music experiences.
    • Preparing students for practicals and exams.
    • Inspiring and motivating students to extend themselves to after school music clubs.
    • Building relationships and mentoring students.
    • Teaching dance to student from lower primary to upper primary

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience for both music an dance .
    • License to teach as an academic (state requirement).
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Choral pedagogy.
    • Ability to set and mark examination papers.

    Diction Teacher

    Job Description

    • The Diction Tutor will be responsible for helping students improve their style of speaking or writing as dependent upon choice of words, the accent, inflection, intonation, and speech-sound quality manifested by an individual speaker; or proper enunciation.
    • The subject teacher will require strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver constructive and informative lesson plans that will engage students ensuring the standards across all year groups are met.

    Responsibilities

    • To guide pupils in speaking right (right pronunciation of words).
    • To guide teachers/staff in speaking right.
    • To coordinate the speaking policy of the school.
    • To teach diction in the school.
    • To develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
    • Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with pupils, and by their organisation of learning resources and the classroom learning environment.
    • Develop and foster the appropriate skills and social abilities to enable the optimum development of children, according to age, ability and aptitude.
    • Link pupils’ knowledge to earlier learning and develop ways to encourage it further, and challenge and inspire pupils to help them deepen their knowledge and understanding.

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience.

    Basic Science Teacher

    Responsibilities

    • Developing Basic Science Curricula.
    • Planning daily lessons.
    • Adopting a data-driven attitude towards measuring learner progress.
    • Developing Basic Sciencelearning activities and hands-on material for classes.
    • Attending to individual student needs.
    • Demonstrating an awareness of different student backgrounds and cultures.
    • Communicating regularly with parents.

    • Using learner data to constantly refine your curriculum.
    • Providing regular feedback to students.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field with at least 3 years experience.
    • State teaching license in the relevant field.
    • Knowledge of STEM best practices.
    • Empathy and great interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication.
    • Proficiency with basic computer software such as Word and Excel.
    • Experience working with children and adolescents. Previous experience as a STEM teacher will be advantageous.
    • Good classroom management skills.
