    Sales Associate

    Job Brief

    • We are currently recruiting an elegant and diligent sales associate to join our team.
    • The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in promoting and selling skincare and beauty products.
    • In this position, you will serve as the first point of contact for all walk in customers, you will welcome customers and help them select and recommend the products that best suit their needs, as well as recommend available products.
    • Your core responsibility is to engage customers and close sales to help the brand meet its goals.

    Key Responsibilities
    Sales:

    • Welcome and serve customers providing an excellent in-store experience at all times.
    • Guide customers by ushering them to appropriate sections in the store based on their needs and interests.
    • Be proactively engaged in upselling and maximize sales opportunities in order to achieve individual sales target and key performance indicators (KPIs)
    • Upsell where appropriate
    • Follow policies and procedures for markdowns and sales events
    • Record sales by creating and updating customer profile records in the sales software.
    • Offer incentives to get customer details
    • Communicate special promotions and instore activities to customers.

    Customer Service:

    • Assist customers in a timely, efficient and courteous manner delivering superior customer service
    • Deal effectively with customer complaints by liaising with the sales supervisor when necessary
    • Liaise with the business development to fulfil all bulk customer orders in a timely manner

    Representing the Brand:

    • Demonstrate strong brand and product knowledge and provide expert recommendations.
    • Understand and communicate the Dang! Lifestyle brand aesthetics, brand philosophy and lifestyle to the customers.
    • Ensure to be up-to date knowing promotions, product launches, industry trends and competitors.
    • Adhere strictly to the dress code

    Store Operations:

    • Maintain the shop floor and visual display high standards, complying with the brand’s operational guidelines and merchandising procedures.
    • Maintain store appearance and ambience
    • Ensure that the restrooms are cleaned at when due
    • Balance cash registers with receipts
    • Execute all opening and closing procedures

    Inventory Management:

    • Stay aware of inventory levels and communicate low stock to sales supervisor participate in stock count activities.
    • Perform other duties as required

    Technical Skiils:

    • Intermediate knowledge in MS Office suite majorly excel
    • Intermediate knowledge of enterprise resources planning (ERP) software
    • Standard entry skills
    • Excellent Communication skills
    • Good networking , prospecting and closing skills
    • Ability to influence and negotiate
    • Ability to own tasks and take responsibility for outcomes
    • Strong work ethic

    Education and Experience

    • 1-3 years of relevant experience working in a commercial or retail store
    • BSC / HND in Business Administration , Economics, Marketing or a related field

    Behavioural Competencies:

    • Good looking, preferably a female. Must be willing to take initiative, work autonomously and tackle complex situations.
    • Must have exceptional time management and organizational skills including the ability to meet external and internal deadlines.
    • Must demonstrate the confidence and ability to relate with customers in an assertive and professional way

    Executive Assistant

    Job Brief

    • We are currently recruiting an elegant and diligent Executive Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the MD/CEO and the management team.

    Key Responsibilities
    Sales:

    • Work with the MD to manage the Executive calendar effectively.
    • Work closely with the MD to keep her informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
    • Keep the MD updated on emerging issues that may affect the MD agenda
    • Draft documents prepared under the direction of the MD including letters, reports, presentations etc.
    • Identify issues of confidentiality, follow procedures and policies to ensure privacy and confidentiality
    • Prepare agendas for meetings in a timely manner
    • Record minutes accurately and distribute within the agreed timeframes
    • Ensure the timely booking of flights and hotel arrangements as directed.
    • Liaise with internal and external parties in a professional manner that demonstrate the vision, mission, culture and values of the company
    • Provide a bridge for smooth communication between the MD office and other internal departments whilst maintaining credibility, trust and support with senior management and other members of staff
    • Perform all other duties as assigned

    Education and Experience

    • B.Sc / HND in Business Administration, Economics, Mass Communication, Political Science or similar role
    • 2-3 years of relevant experience working as an executive assistant.

    Technical Skiils:

    • Google suite proficiency
    • Familiarity with office productivity tools and applications ( e-g Calendars and copy machines)
    • Excellent MS Office knowledge
    • Excellent Communication skills
    • Good networking , prospecting and closing skills
    • Ability to influence and negotiate
    • Ability to own tasks and take responsibility for outcomes
    • Diplomatic and tactful

    Behavioural Competencies:

    • Good looking, preferably a female. Must be willing to take initiative, work autonomously and tackle complex situations.
