    Medical Laboratory Scientist

    Role Description

    • Perform a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures, including hematology, clinical chemistry, immunology, microbiology, molecular diagnostics, blood banking, and urinalysis
    • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment used for testing
    • Perform regular quality control checks and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during testing
    • Maintain and enforce quality control measures within the laboratory Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely laboratory results
    • Analyse body fluids, classify and process blood to determine types and to separate satin from the blood

    Qualifications
    Candidates for the post must possess the required qualifications, experience and skills specified below:

    • B.Sc. Degree in Medical Laboratory Science
    • Member, Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN)
    • 1-year post NYSC cognate experience
    • Not more than 35 years of age

    • Relevant educational background and qualifications in healthcare or related fields
    • Knowledge of Civil/Public Service Rules
    • Basic skills and use of ICT tools

    HR / Admin Officer

    Role Description

    • Maintain employment related data, files, and postings
    • Supports and oversees the employee performance evaluation process, ensuring its consistent utilization and application
    • Ensure timely collection of monthly timesheets, leave database and ensuring the timely submission and approval of leave forms
    • Raises HR-related issues with senior management in a proactive matter and identify practical solutions and appropriate action plans Serve as the point of contact for timekeeping, time-off, payroll, benefit, and related inquiries

    Pharmacist

    Grade Level: CONHESS 09

    Role Description

    • Review, prepare, and supervise the compounding, preparation, and dispensing of medicines to patients or medical professionals to decide whether to utilize a generic version of a prescription drug
    • Offer further medicine and pharmaceutical information; explain pharmacological indications, contraindications, dosage, interactions and adverse effects to patients and/or medical professionals
    • Oversee the acquisition and distribution of drugs and pharmaceuticals to health centres, PHCs, health stations, etc. Support pharmacological services by assembling, stocking and distributing medications
    • Conduct comprehensive medication reviews to assess the appropriateness, effectiveness, and safety of medications for individual patients. They identify potential medication-related issues, promote adherence strategies, and support patients in managing complex medication regimens

    Qualifications

    • Candidates for the post must possess the required qualifications, experience and skills specified below:
    • Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or PharmD)
    • 1-year post NYSC cognate experience
    • Member of the Pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria (PCN) or Nigerian Association of General Practice Pharmacists (NAGPP)
    • Not more than 35 years of age
