    Internal Audit & Control Manager

    Job Description

    The role will perform advanced level assessment of internal controls, advise on the adequacy of controls designed and drive the development of systems/work processes aimed at controls
    improvement and statutory compliance. Reporting to the Board, the role will be responsible for managing the internal controls and enterprise risk management for the company, as well as reporting on the adequacy of internal controls.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop, review and implement compliance policies, programs, and procedures.
    • Review organization controls, operating procedures, and compliance with policies and regulations
    • Identify control gaps, evaluate their risk implications, and draw appropriate conclusions.
    • Develop and execute audit plans and programs to assess the adequacy and operating effectiveness of internal controls.
    • Consult with management on strategic plans and other business matters and anticipate emerging risks.
    • Supervise audit and internal control team members with clear structures implemented to ensure the independence of the audit function.
    • Ensure adequate review of business processes and IT controls that support key financial operations.
    • Monitor and review transactions and processes on a continuous basis.
    • Ensure adequate training of the audit and internal control team on leading practices.
    • Carry out special investigations requested by the MD or the Board.
    • Carry-out any other duties as may be assigned by the MD or the Board.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Internal Control/Audit
    • Minimum two (2) years’ managerial experience in a similar role or capacity
    • Relevant qualifications in ACA, ACCA and/or CIA
    • FMCG, QSR and/or retail industry knowledge and experience is a plus
    • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, including written and verbal communication
    • Hands-on experience with process improvement methodologies, project management, and change management strongly preferred Self-motivated and experienced in transition environments with rapid change

    • Our ideal candidate should be between 32 – 42 years

    Sales Officer

    Sales Officer-Fixed Line manage and develop sales of wireless/fixed line internet solutions to customers in a pre-defined cluster. In addition to their responsibilities for bringing new customers, Sales officers are custodians for retention and servicing the clients’ needs during their life cycle. They also have responsibility to ensure subscription revenue is achieved as per Annual Operations plan for designated coverage clusters. The role of Sales Officer-Fixed Line is an executive position and reports to Business Head/Area Sales Manager. Lead Generation, Lead Management, selling skills and extensive sales knowledge are required to succeed in this position. One also has to have sales experience, particularly in a person-to-person setting

    Skills, Duties and Responsibilities

    • Cold Calling in designated coverage cluster of Home Estates
    • Generate Leads and Manage Funnel of Hot/Warm/Cold calls for Sales
    • Send daily report and updates as required by ASM/FBB Head
    • Conduct Sales Meetings with Clients at their premises/homes
    • Follow up with leads on daily basis for sales generation
    • Sales Officer-Fixed Line requires many soft skills with an understanding of technical aspects.
    • Liaise with Customer care team to help customers in recharging and resolution of complaints as part of customer retention and life cycle management.
    • Develop, build, and manage a client base for references and repeat sales
    • Handle the sales process at each stage from prospecting to product description to CAF sign up with payment collection and finally installation of broadband connection at customer premises
    • Meet and build relations with Facility Managers in Estates for marketing activities leading to Residential Sales initiatives
    • Prospect new clients via sales calls, direct mail, email, WhatsApp and networking events
    • Appoint SSA and build relations with them to generate leads
    • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and community events to help promote the residential sales programs
    • Tracking of competition in our service areas for their presence and tariff plans

    Qualifications

    • Self-Motivated and Self Starter
    • Ability to communicate effectively and handle customer queries
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Statistics or a related field.
    • 2-3 years of relevant sales experience
    • Direct sales experience from Telecom/ISP only.
    • Required experience from any of the ISP’s or MVNO in Nigeria like IPNX, ISN, Cobranet, Fibre1, VDT, Swift, Hoops telecoms, Ngcom, Mangonet, Mainone, Airtel. MTN, etc
    • Candidate should have door to door, front line, cold sales and direct sales experience only.
    •  Age between 25 and 35 Years.
    • Ability to work independently and without supervision
    • Well-organized and detailed approach to work is an added advantage.
    •  Job changing should not be too frequent.
    • Time management is key
