    Waiter and Waitress

    Job Description
    Greet and Seat Guests:

    • Welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
    • Escort them to their tables or seating areas.
    • Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials or promotions.

    Take Orders:

    • Take accurate food and drink orders from guests.
    • Answer questions about the menu, including details on ingredients, preparation methods, and pricing.
    • Make recommendations based on guests' preferences.

    Serve Food and Beverages:

    • Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely and professional manner.
    • Ensure that guests have everything they need, such as utensils, napkins, and condiments.
    • Monitor guest satisfaction and address any issues or requests promptly.

    Maintain Cleanliness:

    • Keep tables, chairs, and lounge areas clean and tidy.
    • Clear plates, glasses, and utensils from tables when guests are finished.
    • Assist in resetting tables for the next guests.

    Process Payments:

    • Present checks to guests at the end of their visit.
    • Handle payments, including cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.
    • Provide accurate change and receipts.

    Assist with Lounge Operations:

    • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations.
    • Assist with inventory management, such as restocking supplies.
    • Report any maintenance or safety issues to management.

    Provide Exceptional Customer Service:

    • Ensure guests have a memorable experience by being attentive, friendly, and responsive.
    • Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and escalate to management if necessary.
    • Build rapport with regular guests to encourage repeat business.

    Follow Health and Safety Standards:

    • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling and storage of food and beverages.
    • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

    Attend Training and Meetings:

    • Participate in training sessions to stay updated on menu changes, service standards, and policies.
    • Attend team meetings to discuss performance, goals, and any procedure changes.

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not always required.
    • Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent customer service and hospitality skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Basic math skills for handling payments.

    Janitors / Cleaners

    Job Responsibilities

    Clean and Sanitize Public Areas:

    • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all public areas, including the lounge floor, entrance, hallways, and restrooms.
    • Dust and wipe down surfaces, such as tables, chairs, counters, shelves, and decorations.
    • Clean and disinfect high-touch areas, like door handles, light switches, and handrails.

    Maintain Restrooms:

    • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and counters.
    • Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and hand sanitizer.
    • Report any maintenance issues, such as leaks or broken fixtures, to the management.

    Manage Waste Disposal:

    • Empty trash cans and recycling bins regularly and dispose of waste properly.
    • Ensure that trash cans are clean and lined with fresh bags.
    • Separate recyclables from general waste according to the lounge’s waste management policies.

    Maintain Cleanliness of Lounge Equipment and Furniture:

    • Clean and maintain lounge furniture, including chairs, couches, tables, and bar stools.
    • Spot-clean upholstery, carpets, and curtains as needed.
    • Clean and polish metal fixtures, glass surfaces, and decorative items.

    Handle Spillages and Stains:

    • Quickly respond to and clean up any spills, stains, or accidents to prevent slips and falls.
    • Use appropriate cleaning products and techniques to remove stains from carpets, upholstery, or flooring.

    Perform Deep Cleaning Tasks:

    • Conduct periodic deep cleaning of areas like kitchenettes, storage rooms, and less frequently used spaces.
    • Clean windows, mirrors, and glass partitions both inside and outside.
    • Shampoo carpets, wax floors, and polish surfaces as needed.

    Ensure Compliance with Health and Safety Standards:

    • Follow safety guidelines when using cleaning equipment and chemicals.
    • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, or aprons.
    • Report any safety hazards or potential risks to the management immediately.

    Assist with Setting Up and Tidying Events:

    • Help arrange furniture or set up areas for special events or gatherings.
    • Clean up after events, including removing trash, vacuuming, and wiping down surfaces.

    Replenish Supplies and Equipment:

    • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is necessary.
    • Ensure all cleaning tools and equipment are in good working condition and report any damage or malfunctions.

    Collaborate with Staff:

    • Coordinate with other staff members, such as waiters and bartenders, to ensure smooth operations and maintain a clean environment.
    • Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies from staff or management.

    Key Skills Required

    • Attention to detail and thoroughness.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
    • Basic knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and equipment.
    • Good communication skills and a cooperative attitude.
    • Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand or walk for long periods.

    Job Qualifications

    • Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not always required.
    • Basic knowledge of safety and hygiene standards.
    • Ability to understand and follow instructions, both written and verbal.
