    Lead Project Engineer

    Activities

    • Ensures adequate preparation and execution of offshore construction activities including repair of pipelines, vessels, valves, structures, well connections, modifications on production and processing facilities. 
    • Responsible for following up engineering studies, tendering, workshop fabrication works, site installation works and documentations. 
    • Responsible for carrying out the whole process of execution upon receipt of Notification/SMR/RFM approved for job implementation. 
    • Carries out preliminary cost estimate, schedule and technical feasibility dossier and submit for review/approval. 
    • Ensures work is performed efficiently to fulfil the statement of requirements 
    • Ensures elaborate contract strategy definition in conjunction with his/her Contracts & Procurement (C&P) duet. 
    • Prepares Call for Tender dossier and follow up with bid evaluation in conjunction with his/her Contracts & Procurement (C&P) duet as well as other stakeholders. 
    • Plans and supervises the successful execution of all assigned Projects using Company-approved Contractors. 
    • Prepares and defends budgets / associated performances related to his/her activities with Management and Partners. 
    • Analyzes Project variation orders and estimates provided by Contractors and checks for consistency with the contractual provisions/requirements. 
    • Organizes and follows up with Technical Logistics in order to ensure that the Offshore Logistics requirements for the Project are met. 
    • Liaise closely with Field Operations for the effective execution of activities. 
    • Ensures that the QA/QC requirements are respected and in line with Company Rules local regulations and applicable referentials. 
    • Establishes and follows punchlists closeouts when required and ensure that relevant closeout documentations are prepared, issued, reviewed, validated and correctly archived in the Company’s As-built database. 
    • Follows up and ensures the closeout of all assigned NIs/NCs SAP at the completion of site activities. 
    • Participates effectively during Safety Reviews, Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP) and Hazard Identification (HAZID) sessions. 
    • Takes the lead and participates in Job Risk Assessments (JRAs), Constructability reviews and other relevant review sessions related to his/her assigned activities. 
    • Ensures Contractors have viable schedules for their work, recognizing interfaces with other ongoing Company activities. 
    • Prepares and issues activities daily, weekly and monthly progress reports. 
    • Organizes Contractors’ activities from Kick-Off Meeting (KOM) to work completion. 

    Candidate Profile

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, Structural, Civil or Electrical Engineering. 
    • 10 years’ experience in Engineering & Construction including management of small/medium-sized projects and contracting. 
    • Membership of a professional body such as Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) will be an advantage. 
    • A good knowledge of TotalEnergies’ Referentials will be an added advantage. 
    • Proficiency in the use of MS Office suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power-point). 
    • High standards of teamwork, technical rigor, communication, organization with good interpersonal and communication skills.

    Lead Engineer, Fabric Maintenance

    Activities

    • Pursue within FO site team the HSE objectives defined by line management 
    • Carryout Emergency and Routine Maintenance work activities offshore, to include but not limited to repair of flowlines, pipelines and structural repairs. 
    • Ensures all NI/NC notifications are properly assessed and assigned to the right teams for execution and completion of works 
    • To extend the work scopes to include Stainless and Duplex steel piping works, larger diameter piping repairs and new installations. 
    • Introduction to GRE/GRP materials in piping, grating and handrails maintenance. 
    • He/she is the Company’s representative in charge of these activities and Company main contact for the Emergency and Fabric Maintenance work works external Contractors 
    • Participates in the routine FO, HSE etc. and follow up scheduled actions 
    • Manages the interfaces linked to these activities with the relevant TEPNG entities. 
    • Prepares (with management validation) and defends contracts scope and budgets related to his/her activities internally and before NAPIMS. 
    • Prepares and ensures effective management of the various Fabric Maintenance Contracts. 
    • Analyses and validates estimates provided by Contractors and verify the estimates in line with the contracts clauses. 
    • Ensures that the preparation and the execution of the works are correctly performed. 
    • Organize and follow the logistics between the different offshore worksites and base. 
    • Organizes the receipt of the works performed (in particular the prefabrications performed in the Contractors workshops). 
    • Deal closely with field operations teams and procurement, construction, projects and logistics for effective execution of Campaign of works. 
    • Ensures that the QA/QC requirements are totally respected and in line with Nigerian Regulations and Company Rules.

    • Provides technical support to the JV Sites including maintenance engineers and FM supervisors on site

    • Ensures all Fabric Maintenance Works are efficiently carried out in strict compliance with safety policies and procedures. 
    • Analyses the Fabric Maintenance Works activities performance from a technical and economic perspective and takes action necessary to achieve company set objectives regarding efficiency, cost optimization and savings. 
    • Able to manage and account up to 20 MUSD/year in the most economical manner and in the best interest of the company 
    • Carry out all inspection (NI/NC) notification prescribed works and other corrective actions on all sites associated with structures, pipes and other support activities to operations like spading, scaffolding etc... 
    • Expenditure of Total budget value of about 10 MUSD per year. 
    • Manage 5 to 10 personnel (project engineers and supervisors) 
    • Prepare and defend work programs with partners and engagement with other stakeholders.

    Candidate Profile

    • Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum or Civil or Mechanical Engineering. 
    • Must have 10 to 15 years of experience in construction/ SD activities and management of operations in industrial oil & gas context and project management. 
    • Capability to manage HSE aspects (in particular respect of safety rules) including management of these aspects by external entities. 
    • Specific professional knowledge: SAP/R3 (UNISUP). 
    • Good knowledge of technical rules and quality level required for these activities.

    Senior Static Equipment Engineer

    Activities

    • Lead the AKPO and EGINA Mechanical Marine Static Engineers 
    • Assist Head of Mechanical with the updating of the Maintenance Plans, involve procedures drafting, drawings issuance, studies performance, spare parts identification reviews, tools reviews, documentation filing, binding or data capture in computerized systems. 
    • Supports the FPSOs operational teams as requested in areas of own speciality, including drafting working procedures, maintenance programmes, and providing associated logistic support.     • Within the framework of Deep Water (AKPO & EGINA) DW Operations, the main objectives are, in the field of maintenance, to: 
      • Lead the AKPO and EGINA Mechanical Marine Static, Crane & Lifting equipment Engineers 
      • Assist Head of Mechanical for the updating of the Maintenance Plans including dedicated procedures, spare parts coverage, tools selection and other technical aspects, in accordance with the Maintenance Policy.

    • Engineering University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Degree as Chief Engineer or equivalent. 
    • Knowledge in Marine, Hydraulic, Lifting equipment and, various Mechanical Static Equipment. 
    • Experience: 5 years as Chief Engineer on board vessel or as Mechanical Engineer in operational functions in Oil & Gas Industry.

    Senior Well Intervention Engineer/Well Integrity Focal Point

    Activities
    Co-ordination:

    • Mentors Junior Engineers and Supervisors, shares experience and best practices, reviews documents and provides constructive feedback.
    • Ensures risk assessments and HAZID/HAZOP are carried out prior to all Intervention related operations. 
    • Leads IWOPS and risk assessment sessions for intervention operations. 
    • A leader of LEAN, 3C, cost rationalization and continuous improvement culture within the Intervention & Integrity team throughout the well delivery cycle: 
    • Ensures lessons learnt and best practices are communicated to service company and other stakeholders. 
    • Follows wells’ KPI and CPI databases, and benchmarks operations against best performance. 
    • Actively participates in monthly performance meetings. 
    • Follows up and closes out any highlighted improvement actions
    • Ensures and follows up financial and personnel utilization reporting by the offshore supervisors. 
    • Manages the well cost follow up and contracts to ensure there is sufficient value in the contract for upcoming operations. 
    • Spearheads the preparation, planning, optimization and follow-up on offshore execution of intervention aspects of well operations. 
    • Provides oversight and technical support during operations and ensures procedures are followed by offshore supervisors.

    • Technical Administrator (TADM) for all Deepwater Asset Well Intervention Contracts (Coiled Tubing, Pumping and Stimulation, Slickline, E-Line, Well Tractor Services) 
    • Prepare budgets/AFE for Deepwater intervention scope and cost follow-up. 

    Is accountable for operational excellence: 

    • Reviews job programs and guidelines, ensuring compliance with Company rules. 
    • Drives a continuous improvement culture within the team (LLs and KPI/CPI implementation, LEAN behaviors, cost responsibility culture, innovation mindset etc). 
    • Ensures pre job and post job reviews are routinely carried out with the team and contractors. 
    • Develops engineering knowledge database to capture learnings, best practices and tracks performances for well operations.
    • Organisation (In relationship with Technical Services, GSR, and Assets): 
    • Liaises with GSR, ECP, FOPs and Contractors to ensure optimization of well operations program and well intervention, integrity and XMT/wellhead maintenance equipment preparation. 
    • As part of the well delivery process, coordinates with GSR, FOPs., HQ and other relevant entities to ensure well objectives are defined. 
    • Prepares & reviews CFT docs., performs CFT technical assessments and makes recommendation to C&P teams. 
    • Prepares and reviews well-handover documents and communicates same (including well parameters and non-conformances) to Field Ops. 
    • Act as DOA for Intervention & Integrity Manager as and when required. 

    Technical:

    • Has in-depth knowledge and experience of intervention tools, technologies, and techniques. Has good knowledge of all D&W functions i.e., Drilling, Subsea and Wells.
    • Prepares and verifies stimulation and intervention designs in line with SOR requirements. Performs and reviews studies relating to production-restoration, enhancement, safeguarding and well integrity. 
    • Reviews well programs, ensures intervention equipment is prepared, is fit for purpose and meets well timelines. 
    • Ensures risk assessments and HAZID/HAZOP are carried out prior to the completion operations. 
    • Proposes new ideas and innovations to improve well performance, well operations performance, reduce risk and/or cost. 
    • Attends weekly Well Performance Group (WPG) and planning meetings and other technical presentations. Drives planning sequence priorities and ensures no operational delays. 
    • All programs, MOCs and relevant documents filed accordingly in relevant repository. 

    Drilling and Well Integrity Focal Point (WIFP):

    • Liaises with Well Integrity Lead Engineer (WILE), providing technical assessment, analysis and follow-up to identified wells anomalies. 
    • Diagnoses and recommends appropriate Workover or Well intervention solutions for existing integrity problems and/or modifications/addendum in line with Management of Change and Company Rules requirements. 
    • Responsible for the planning and execution of all Well Integrity related Well Intervention operations for all TEPNG (Deepwater & JV) Assets. These activities include both downhole (tubing leak, DHSV repair etc.) and surface (Wellhead & Xmas tree) related integrity problems. 
    • Prepares budgets/AFE for integrity scope and cost follow-up. 
    • Technical Administrator (TADM) for all Wellhead and Xmas tree related contract. 
    • Assures Wellhead and Xmas tree components stocking level management for all TEPNG JV Assets. 
    • Initiates the preparation and launch of Call for Tender process for relevant Wellhead & Integrity operations with Contracts department and Well Intervention Managers. 
    • Participates in technical and commercial evaluations and establishes recommendations. 
    • Accountable to ensure FP well register is established and maintained for both Deepwater & JV Assets. 
    • Ensures regular testing, maintenance and inspection of FP wells are implemented. 
    • Builds framework for Well Integrity management system of FP wells. 
    • Prepares and implements procedures/routines to support the framework of FP wells. 
    • Develops well integrity knowledge database to capture learnings, best practices and performance tracking across TEPNG
    • Participates in technical and other decision-making meetings on behalf of D&W department. 
    • Ensures adequate mentoring and coaching of engineers. 
    • Liaises with Superintendents for problem solving during preparation or execution of well activities. 

    Is accountable for: 

    •    Ensuring all aspects of the well operating envelope of FP wells are maintained as per the Well Integrity Management System. 
    • Ensuring delivery of the planned XMT & WH maintenance routines. 
    • Management and update of the well integrity management system for any activity/ maintenance performed by Drilling & Wells. 
    • Planning and delivery of periodic well examination schemes. 
    • Proposes technological innovations that provide well integrity solutions. 
    • Contributes to improving skills and know-how by providing technical guidance and coaching for younger engineers and interns. 
    • Conducts studies and oversees projects that improve performance of the Affiliate. 
    • Manages well intervention improvement plan with HQ and service providers.

    Context & Environment:

    • Key operations in deepwater (up to 1600m operating water depth) and on 6th generation drillships ($1.5MUSD daily cost) and on intervention vessels (500KUSD per day). 
    • Manages multiple culturally and professionally transverse personnel. 
    • Significant financial involvement ($150M contract value management, operational cost oversight of approx. $100M per annum).
    • Significant value creation role (intervention operations contribute up to 10Mboe per annum). 
    • Safety critical role (Training and certification allows direct involvement in major risk prevention – blowout). 
    • The position requires ability to make firm decisions based on well condition assessment - thus it requires high availability, operational experience, and sound technical knowledge.

    Candidate Profile

    • Bachelor of Engineering. 
    • Minimum of 10 years relevant technical experience in onshore and offshore Well Engineering roles. 
    • Good experience in Contracts Management and basic Finance. 
    • Extensive knowledgeable of Drilling Engineering/ Operations, Subsea Engineering/ Operations, Well Interventions Engineering/Operations, Reservoir and Well Performance fundamentals. 
    • Knowledgeable and experience in Personnel Management.

    Lead Engineer, Integrated Control & Safety Systems (ICSS)

    Activities

    • Prepares maintenance programs for instrumentation systems covering measuring instruments, control valves, shutdown valves, control systems, F&G devices and other specialized systems. 
    • Supports routine maintenance concerns by treating material modification requests/ reports progress with expediting status. 
    • Ensures the CMMS system is regularly updated with correct equipment data, bills of material and adequate material replenishment plans 
    • Assists Instrumentation TADM with the review of material requirements with site and ensure correct replenishment plan for stock items 
    • Develops maintenance programs for specialized systems (e.g. PA/GA, F&G Systems, DHGs) and liaise with telecoms for support where necessary 
    • Acts as the focal point for specialized systems (e.g. PA/GA, F&G Systems, DHGs), and provide expert technical advice to the instrumentation maintenance leader and other departments 
    • Carries out obsolescence studies and renewal programs for the assigned specialised systems (e.g. ICSS, PLC) 
    • Periodically reviews the CMMS reporting on PM’s and ensure that blocking points are efficiently resolved

    • Liaises with vendors and the original equipment manufacturers for all queries regarding maintenance modifications, spare parts, drawings and the resolution of technical problems

    Lead Engineer, Floating unit and Subsea Inspection

    Activities

    • Ensure that the mechanical and structural integrity of the Floating Units (including LSA) and subsea pieces of equipment are maintained and follow the requirements of TEP Referential, for that:

    Lead Engineer, Rotating Equipment

    Activities

    • Acts as JV Mechanical Head in absence of formal Mechanical Head.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the preparation of annual Subsea Inspection scope of work in accordance with applicable company rules and general specifications.

    Project Engineer

    Responsibilities

    • Oversees the execution of all routine minor works and minor interventions. 
    • Oversees the execution of all emergency and campaign of work activities within the Onshore Assets which include but is not limited to repair of flowlines and pipelines, new well connections, modifications on production and processing facilities. 
    • Prepares and defends budgets related to his/her activities before NAPIMS. 
    • Prepares and ensures effective management of the Routine Maintenance Works Contracts and Onshore Construction Works contracts linked to his/her activities. 
    • Analyses and validates estimates provided by the Routine Maintenance Works Contractor and ensures that the estimates are in line with the contractual provisions.

    • Prepares Scope of Work (SOW) and all other RFQ/CFT dossiers for routine minor works and minor interventions and liaises with his/her C&P duet in defining the contract execution strategy. 
    • Participates effectively during Safety Reviews, Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP) and Hazard Identification (HAZID) sessions. 
    • Takes the lead and participates in Job Risk Assessments (JRAs), Constructability reviews and other relevant review sessions related to routine minor works and minor interventions. 
    • Monitors routine minor works and minor interventions activities during fabrication and installation phases to ensure compliance with Project specifications. 
    • Ensures that all HSE MS requirements of the project are respected by routine minor works and minor interventions Contractors. 
    • Responsible for reviewing additional works in the case of scope creep whilst highlighting the cost and schedule impact, if any. 
    • Responsible for organizing project progress review meetings and proposing recovering plans should there be deviations from the project’s validated KPIs. 
    • Reviews and issues for approval, routine minor works and minor interventions dossier prior to dispatch to the Sites for implementation. 
    • Performs regular missions to the field to monitor ongoing site activities. 
    • Ensures Contractors have viable schedules for their work, recognizing interfaces with other ongoing company activities.

    Senior Electrical Engineer

    Activities

    • Develop design of integrated electrical systems (Electrical design basis, Transformers, short circuit current, load sharing, load shedding, single line diagrams, cable sizing…) 
    • Carries out preliminary, basic and detailed facilities engineering studies / design in-house. 
    • Ensures that the facilities Engineering Contractors submit all deliverables on time and checks/reviews them regularly to achieve Company quality expectations.

    Lead Engineer, Electrical & HVAC (Lagos)

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the Technical content of the Maintenance Methods in the field of Electrical Engineering, networks, PDCS, UPS, HVAC including the responsibility for maintenance plans, spare parts coverage, working techniques, and the procedures, in accordance with the Maintenance Policy.

    Senior Pipeline Engineer

    Corrosion Engineers

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare and implement Corrosion & Prevention management philosophy 
    • Schedule and execute Corrosion Surveys and Studies and recommend the necessary remedial actions
