    Key Account Executive

    Our client; a reputable firm in the Engineering and Construction sector is looking to fill the role below

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Effectively coordinate and track all activities occurring for each account assigned; starting from lead identification and tender generation up till final payment and cycle closure.
    • Establish, develop and maintain trust and business relationships with key personnel across various departments (contracts and procurement, maintenance, engineering, projects, finance and accounting, etc) in assigned accounts; this helps in knowing and developing customer organizational structure per department.
    • Acquire a thorough understanding of the customers’ business, goals, needs and requirements and accordingly propose solutions that meet their objectives.
    • Keep abreast of client production rates, investments and divestments, and other activities, news and projects in order to build opportunity pipeline, identify new areas of interest and generate new business.
    • Ensure continuous customer satisfaction through delivering high on major customer performance criteria (OTD, RT, HSE, Quality etc).
    • Arrange, at a minimum, weekly visits to each customer to follow up on business, look for opportunities, enhance relationships and attend to their queries and complaints.
    • Ensure Client visits are pre-planned and well prepared prior to the visit. Visits to be followed with timely & professional visit reports.
    • Attend to tenders and negotiate with the clients tender, contract and quotations terms and conditions in line with both the company accepted parameters and clients’ needs until closing the deal.
    • Promote the company as a solution provider and spread awareness of our product offerings, advantage over competition and our after-sales support services to help increase market share.
    • Map our product population in each of the customers’ facilities and conduct surveys covering customer warehouses and facilities.
    • Follow up on market activity and develop a thorough understanding of major players/competitors in the industry for both supply and services and accordingly develop strategies to keep a competitive advantage.
    • Ensure agencies are well protected and not leaked and that price agreements are established/renewed to minimize the possibility of leakages.
    • Prepare regular reports on progress and forecasts on timely basis as required by direct Manager.
    • Closely liaise and coordinate with other inter-company departments (logistics, services and procurement, etc) and maintain a positive and cooperative relationship.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor or Technical University degree in Engineering or Business Administration
    • 5-10 years of sales experience, preferably in Oil and Gas related field
    • Knowledge of the Oil and Gas Process is a plus
    • Experience & Knowledge in the following product categories is a plus
    • Rotating Equipment (Pumps, Compressors, Turbines, Gear Boxes)
    • Pipes & Fittings
    • Valves & actuators
    • Gas Detectors
    • Hydraulic & Air Filtration Systems
    • Very good command of English (spoken and written)
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, excel, etc.…)
    • Job requires frequent traveling within the country
    • Team player and good work ethics
    • Multi-tasking, prioritizing and time management skills
    • Report writing, Presentation, Problem solving skills

    Product Sales Specialist (Gas Detection Systems)

    Job Description

    • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with key departments across the clients, namely engineering & amp; projects to identify their technical needs relating to the assigned products.
    • Conduct regular visits to stakeholders across all clients for follow up on current business and spotting new opportunities.
    • Conduct surveys across all clients to develop an accurate and detailed database for the assigned product lines, record and keep track of their status and activities in order to initiate and develop business opportunities through proposing interventions, overhauls, upgrades, replacements etc.
    • Develop action plans monthly to meet or exceed sales targets set for each of the assigned products.
    • Raise technical awareness for the products in question across all clients and respond to their technical queries and operational challenges and issues through presentations and demonstrations of the products with customers.
    • Work closely with the clients through their decision making and selection process and seek opportunities to propose solutions and give a leading edge to the assigned products over competing products in new sales opportunities.
    • Maintain up to date market and competitor knowledge related to the assigned products in order to develop effective counter strategies.
    • Provide technical support to account teams through joint visits to clients to identify new opportunities and continuously increase prospect funnel.
    • Produce and / or provide technical guides, best practices documents, and presentations for internal and external use.
    • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on progress for each of the assigned products and present forecasts and plans for the following month/quarter.
    • Coordinate closely with the service center facility to identify and acquire service jobs.
    • Coordinate closely with the technical teams across relevant OEMs to develop technical know-how and acumen regarding the assigned products.
    • Keep updated on product releases, upgrades and new technologies concerning each of the assigned products.
    • Work closely with the different departments to identify new opportunities.
    • Manage execution and documentation of supply projects for assigned products across all customers.

    Requirements

    • Minimum: Engineering Degree in relevant field of expertise
    • Around 7-10 years overall experience out of which recent 5- 6 years of product sales and technical support experience
    • Strategic and tactical mindset with passion of sales and networking skills
    • Ability to manage lead, negotiate & amp; finalize deals
    • Experience in industrial technology sales
    • Experience in dealing with OEM representatives
    • Ability to develop and execute strategic pursuit plan
    • Excellent writing skills and presentation skills.
