    Digital Expert

    Background

    • The Nigeria TBHIV Reach Integration & Impact Project (N-THRIP) is designed to ensure a coordinated and intensive effort to scale up the prevention, identification, and treatment of HIV in both general and key populations in Anambra state.
    • The focus will be on facility and community-based approaches to reach epidemic control, and in addition, ensure improvement in the coverage of pregnant women on ART as well as target KP and AGYW programs.
    • Hence, the integrated approach harnesses digital professionals’ expertise to develop IEC materials and radio content, targeting vulnerable groups and adolescents.  Aligned with this strategy, the IEC materials will be widely disseminated and shared across healthcare facilities and strategic locations within communities to enhance awareness.
    • To further amplify the message and encourage wider engagement, radio broadcasts will feature voice-over recordings. Meanwhile, our digital communications team will spark online conversations by creating engaging social media content, including animated visuals, to drive awareness and foster meaningful discussions across various social media platforms.

    Key Roles
    The services of the language expert consultant will include but are not limited to the following:

    • Develop content strategy plan for IEC materials centred prevention, care and treatment for Adolescents and Young People, aligning with organizational goals and target audience
    • Design and develop visually appealing digital materials (infographics, videos, animations, interactive presentations)
    • Create engaging and informative content for TB/HIV health education, prevention, and awareness
    • Ensure user-friendly and intuitive digital materials with a seamless user experience
    • Integrate multimedia elements (images, videos, audio, interactive features) to enhance engagement
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent messaging and branding

    Recruitments

    • Degree in Digital Media, Communication, or a related field
    • Proven experience in digital content creation and design
    •  Excellent knowledge of digital tools and software (design, video editing, multimedia)
    •  Strong understanding of user experience (UX) design principles
    •  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
    •  Experience in public health or health education
    •  Knowledge of multimedia content development.

    Voice Over Expert

    • Review and edit content for linguistic accuracy, cultural sensitivity, and appropriateness

    Recruitments

    • Proven experience as a voice over artist or consultant
    • Excellent vocal skills and tone

    Recruitments

    • Degree in Linguistics (Igbo and English language), Language Studies, or a related field.

    State Team Lead

    Job Description

    • The STL will oversee the implementation of the program in the state offices, coordinate all terms of reference, reports (quarterly and annual) in line with approved budgets for the program management, work closely with the Senior Program Advisor in planning and budgeting of program activities.
    • S/he will oversee and provide regular supportive supervision on performance and review of the process of project implementation in all program activities, provide support to the Senior Program Advisor on technical, administrative, and operational management of the program.
    • Support in managing regular correspondence with Donor representatives on various stages of program implementation. S/he will lead the development of work plans and budgets and communicate these to staff and partners, oversee strategy implementation and delivery of results in the state with close working relationship with the Senior Program Advisor for strategic direction. The STL will also ensure compliance with Donor’s terms and conditions as well as AHNi rules and regulations.

    Minimum Recruitment Standard

    • Master’s Degree in Public Health, Business Administration, Health or Behavioral Sciences, or other relevant fields required with 7-9 years’ experience,
    • At least 7 years of mid-level experience implementing, and managing or evaluating complex health programs with an emphasis on health systems strengthening; health financing; and/or health sector policy and strategies,
    • Demonstrated technical depth and understanding of the health policy environment and governance in Nigeria or in a country of similar development context; experience in Nigeria, particularly in the Northern regions preferred,
    • Demonstrated success managing large, complex donor programs; previous experience in managing a USAID contract strongly preferred,
    • Experience building and maintaining partnerships with other development programs, local organizations, host country governments, and international agencies,

    Senior Technical Advisor - Prevention, Care & Treatment

    Job Description

    • Will provide leadership and technical support in the areas of PMTCT, clinical care/ART and reproductive health.
    • S/he will coordinate services needed to implement high quality care PMTCT, HIV care and treatment and reproductive health/family planning services.
    • The STA-PCT will also provide oversight and supervisory roles to the appropriate technical staff, develop guidelines, tools and recommendations related to the implementation, evaluation of clinical management of HIV/AIDS, PMTCT and RH/FP and represent AHNi to Donors and government officials on issues of clinical management of HIV/AIDS, PMTCT and RH/FP at the state and national level.

    Minimum Recruitment Standard

    • MB.BS / MD / PHD or similar Degree with 7 to 9 years relevant experience with at least 7 years progressive experience working in the health or development field in Nigeria,
    • Possession of an MPH or post graduate degree in a related field is required,
    • Proven experience in project development, planning and facilitating technical training,
    • Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health system and NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable,

    Technical Officer - AMERL

    Job Description

    • The Technical Officer-Adaptive Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning is responsible for the implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities for the state office.
    • S/He will work with others in the state office and local implementing partners to ensure that state monitoring and evaluation activities are appropriate and meet the donor and project’s M&E needs, work with the state-level staff and government counterparts to provide support and guidance on program/project monitoring and evaluation activities and on Government of Nigeria reporting requirements.
    • Work with local partners to support the correct implementation and use of monitoring and evaluation tools, and adherence to complete, correct and timely reporting and ensure that the quality of program/project activities adheres to SOPs by supporting the development and implementation of appropriate mechanisms to ensure quality.

    Minimum Recruitment Standard

    • MB.BS / MD / PHD or similar Degree with 2 to 4 years relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS with provision of PMTCT and anti-retroviral therapy (ART) in resource constrained settings,
    • Or MPH or MS/MA in relevant degree with 3 to 5 years relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS with provision of PMTCT and anti-retroviral therapy (ART) in resource constrained settings,
    • Or BS/BA in statistics, pharmacy, microbiology, monitoring and evaluation or in relevant degree with 5 to 7 years relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS with provision of PMTCT and anti-retroviral therapy (ART) in resource constrained settings,
    • Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health systems and NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable.
