    Web Developer - Full Stack

    What You Will Do:

    • We are looking for highly motivated individuals with pleasant personalities and good organizational skills to work as a Web Developer - Full Stack. Working with web-based business applications.
    • You will take part in building Akuuk's next generation of commercial systems that are serving millions of customers.
    • As a full stack web developer you will be working on a variety of web applications and APIs. This includes working on all layers of the systems like infrastructure design, backend and frontend development, database design and optimization, automation and deployment.
    • If you have an interest in working with the newest platforms and writing brilliant code, we want to talk to you.

    What We Are Looking For:

    • 1-3+ years experience in web application development with Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript or PHP, MariaDB or PostgreSQL database, HTML and CSS.
    • Solid knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks.
    • Good knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (OOP).
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field of study.
    • Experience in creating scalable and fault tolerant web applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
    • Fast learner and interested in learning new technologies.
    • Feeling comfortable to work in a complex, long term project.
    • Experience with JSON, RESTful webservices and APIs.
    • Continuous integration and deployment sound familiar to you.

    Software Engineer - iOS

    At Akuuk, we are looking for engaged and passionate Software Engineers to join our growing Engineering Team. These next couple of years, our technical challenge is to leverage a fully decoupled architecture and ultimately microservices at scale with a reliable, event-driven infrastructure behind the scenes.

    • Volume: Store, aggregate and compute 1M+ events/day today, 100M+ by next year.
    • Live: Analyse and take live decisions based on 1M+ events/day.

    We are seeking for an experimented iOS Engineer (+2 years) to join our engineering team. You will work closely with our actual mobile team, you will help to shape our mobile culture by taking team initiatives that have a wide-ranging impact on the team. You will play a significant role in scaling the mobile delivery by defining and setting up development best-practices, continuous integration and deployment systems and above all a modularized and decoupled applicative architecture.

    • Mobile: Swift

    What You Will Do:

    • Designing architecture, code and deliver new features for our iOS apps.
    • Implement best practices for developing iOS applications that target multiple devices and platform version.
    • Scoping, estimating and prioritizing our roadmap features.
    • Accelerate our development cycle by setting up the next continuous deployment system.
    • Improve our current app architecture and we are continuously looking for ways of improving it.
    • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and shared knowledge.

    What We Are Looking For:

    • Already have an experience in delivery of mobile app (B2B/B2C).
    • Experience in Swift.
    • Involved and eager to work with the product team to define outstanding features.
    • Experience in tests (unit tests, integration tests, acceptance tests).

    Product Designer - UI/UX

    • You love a good-looking UI.
    • You code modular and performant CSS.
    • You've worked with a frontend framework.

    Quality Assurance Engineer

    As a QA Software Engineer, you will report to our CTO.

    What You Will Do:

    • Recommend and implement tools for automated testing.
    • Conceive, update and execute functional test plans for all product components and new features.
    • Plan and lead necessary test passes, then help triaging bugs.
    • Align with Product Team and Developers to identify risks in potential features.
    • Ensure global quality metrics (eNPS, % of bad ratings after calls) stay on target.
    • Work closely with developers to share QA's best practices and ease implementation of automatic acceptance tests.
    • Set-up a QA software factory with developers.

    What We Are Looking For:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
    • 2-4+ years of experience as QA Engineer in a technology company.
    • Familiarity with test automation frameworks and experience using these tools as part of the testing process.
    • Good communication and collaboration skills.
    • Knowledge in Selenium, FitNesse, Cucumber and Ruby.
