    Navigation QAQC Consultant

    Description
    Monitor and record actual source array location:

    • Depth tolerance is no more or less than 0.5 meters from the nominal source depth of 10 meters (or as per acquisition contract specifications).
    • Tolerance for horizontal positioning distance is no more than 5 (five) meters in any direction from pre-plot location (or as per acquisition contract specifications).

    Monitor and record node/receiver position:

    • The position tolerance is no more than 5 (five) meters (or as per acquisition contract specifications) from the pre-plot node location unless the pre-plot node location falls into one of the following criteria:
    • The pre-plot node location is in a defined exclusion zone from a seafloor or water column obstruction including but not limited to mooring anchors, well heads, pipelines and cables.
    • The pre-plot node position is located within one of the defined expulsion features and seafloor conditions indicate that coupling or the instrument itself may be compromised
    • Insufficient coupling is encountered at the Pre-Plot Receiver location
    • Unmapped or unmarked seafloor features are encountered that may pose a risk to quality data acquisition including but not limited to unmapped dropped objects, unmapped seafloor facilities related to oil field operations, unmapped expulsion features on the seafloor. All such unmapped or unmapped areas will be documented and reported to the Company. -Noise levels due to oil field operations or equipment at the pre-plot location are such that data can be expected to be compromised or of low quality.-The deployed node/receiver may be offset from the pre-plot node location by a distance up to 100m if the pre-plot node location falls under any of the above criteria (i-v). All such offsets will be documented and approved by the COMPANY’s field representative.
    • A deployed receiver/node location may be offset from the pre-plot node location distance greater than 100m only at the request of the COMPANY’s Field Representative when an offset of less than 100m will not remove the node from the conditions identified the above criteria (i-v)
    • Review and monitor the plan of the survey area showing sail and Common Midpoint (CMP) line numbering and shot point numbering protocol, coordinates of 3D grid corners and orientation.
    • Check and monitor all navigation and positioning systems including vessel DGPS verification, vessel RGPS verification, gyrocompass, acoustic and surface tracking systems, and ensure they are calibrated and functional.

    Record the following statistics:

    • Position differences
    • Indication of change in position
    • Residual RMS-Network unit variance
    • Ellipse error
    • Standard error of position
    • Maintain regular communication with the source vessel daily to ensure navigation and positioning standards are adhered to.

    Job Requirement

    • Navigation Consultant shall have strong knowledge in Marine positioning and ROV operations

    Seismic QAQC Consultant

    • Monitor CONTRACTOR’s Quality Assurance processes and ensure that the performance of all seismic and navigation equipment as the contract is optimal
    • Review and monitor near field hydrophone and far field signature of the seismic source at the nominal operating depth (9 meters) and pressure (2000 psi), recorded through the production filter.
    • Monitor CONTRACTOR’s drop out tables (listings of substitutes for clusters and/or individual guns in the source array)
    • Review and monitor the plan of the survey area showing sail and node line numbering and shot point numbering protocol, coordinates of 3 D grid corners and orientation.
    • Review and monitor the acquisition diagram for acquisition geometry, far-field signature and spectra and modeled radiation patterns, system response and accurate timing of the sequence of recording events.
    • Check and monitor seismic energy source in terms of operating pressure, gun locations, gun depth and synchronization, average firing timing, source misfire and source parameters.
    • Check and monitor OBN recording systems in clock synchronization, battery charge, acoustic modem, instrument noise level, data storage capacity and verification of serial number.
    • Check and monitor nodes deployment procedures and ensure that node QC is carried out during recording and after recovery operation.
    • Review and monitor OBN data quality, and enforce the acceptance criteria for Ocean Bottom Node seismic data based on Sections 5.4.10 and 5.4.11 of the Acquisition Contract.

    Job Requirement

    • Seismic consultant shall have relevant experience in the operation and supervision of ocean bottom nodes seismic data acquisition.

    • Membership of relevant professional bodies is a MUST
    • An understanding of project optimization processes, construction constraints.
    • Extensive skills in the use of the Primavera planning tool is mandatory.
    • Skills in the use of PowerBI and other planning and reporting tools.

    Quality Surveillance Engineer - Civil

    • Contractor promptly and accurately.
    • Monitor Contractor Completions Management process and verify reports, to support the Faultless Project Delivery Program.

    Job Requirements

    • B.Sc. / B.Eng. in the required Engineering discipline (Civil Engineering) or its equivalent.
    • A minimum of 7 years’ postgraduation experience, out of which 45years must have been spent on a similar position in the oil and gas sector.

    • HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) Goal Zero: Manage HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) issues related to General Services as it relates to camp administration and service delivery (accommodations, hospitality, maintenance, housekeeping, landscaping, other support services, etc.) in order to prevent incidents and achieve Goal Zero.
    • Ensure that Quality of services are not compromised by service providers, and Schedule of deliver are met as agreed during the execution of the project EPC.

    Job Requirements

    • First Degree or its equivalent in Social/ management/ physical sciences or Engineering.
    • A minimum of 7 years post-graduation experience, out of which 3 must have been spent on a similar position in the oil and gas sector.
    • A proven track record of managing and collaborative working with multi-cultural stakeholders including contractors.
    • The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate an ability to drive timely decision-making and implementation by the project team through appropriate command, influence and respectful persistence.
    • Good communication skills with diverse stakeholders including Asset, service providers and EPC contractor.
    • Good stakeholder and expectation management, and excellent interpersonal relation skills.
    • Customer care experience and demonstration of Diversity and Inclusion in the area of interface with stakeholders is an added advantage.
