    Responsibilities

    Requirements

    • Experience: minimum of 5 years in a similar position and 15 to 20 years as Legal experience.
    • Area: Knowledge or experience in corporate law, employment law, or intellectual property law.

    Finance Head

    Job Summary

    • The primary purpose of this role is to lead and direct the financial responsibilities of thecompany. He/she owns the responsibility for managing financial sustainability, driving financial performance & maximizing return on investment.
    • He/She will provide strategic financial advice to the Managing Director and Board of Directors and play a pivotal role in formulating future financial strategies.
    • The incumbent will oversee all aspects of financial management, Banking, and Investment Management including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budgeting and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures towards ensuring all accounting activities comply with regulations and ensuring adherence to financial laws and guidelines.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the company stakeholders on financial matters and maintaining a strong working relationship with its bankers and other funding organization’s.
    • Oversee long-term budgetary planning, forecasting and cost management in alignment with the operating companies’ strategic plan.
    • Ensure financial objectives are aligned across the respective companies.
    • Cascade financial strategies into an effective business plan for all the operating companies and ensure maximum alignment between organizational objectives and operating companies’ activities.
    • Lead the continual improvement of smarter information systems, provision of centralized information, increased financial and operational KPI information and trend analysis and benchmarking of the company performance against agreed measures.
    • Defines the liquidity strategy, which outlines how liquidity challenges will be handled and reviews this annually.
    • Reviews cash flow position for ending period. Reviews ledger and income statements to assess the organisation’s liquidity position.
    • Ensuring that the businesses financial risk and exposure is prudently managed, including management of tax liabilities.
