    Field Operations Manager

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • As the operation manager you will coordinate aggregation of grains and commercialisation within Kwara and Oyo state.

    Lead Strategy:

    • You will gather evidence and develop a quarterly roadmap detailing the aggregation of new produce and market .
    • You will create recommendations on best bets and possible pathways, and set up feedback loops with the CEO to ensure agreement.
    • You will conduct background studies, operational and financial estimates and create an impact model for the proposed interventions.
    • You will collect data on grains, sales/volumes etc.to analyze markets and market opportunities, be knowledgeable about existing and potential market conditions.

    Lead Execution:

    • You will coordinate grain purchases from smallholder farmers across Kwara and Oyo state.
    • You will organize a seamless arrangement with off-takers to guarantee sales.
    • You will train farmers on proper post-harvest handling, grain quality standards, and warehouse systems process.

    Relationship/Leadership:

    • You will manage relationships with important partners to the success of commercialization projects.
    • You will create strategy plans in collaboration with other departments, and gather feedback and build agreement from partners and field team members at all stages of the process
    • You will support leaders across Heabron in preparing for commercialization, e.g. by writing talking points to off-takers.
    • You may directly or indirectly manage staff and partners involved in projects, and the activities of the field staff involved in the market access projects.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
    • 2+ years of experience in aggregation,warehousing and commercialisation
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills,including storytelling and presentation
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
    • Financial acumen and experience in budget management

    Social Media Intern

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
    • Develop and implement a social media content calendar aligned with the company's marketing objectives and campaigns.
    • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across social media channels in a timely and professional manner.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for engagement within the agricultural and commodity sector.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute innovative social media campaigns that increase brand awareness and audience engagement.
    • Generate reports on social media performance using analytics tools and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging social media platforms to suggest strategies that resonate with our target audience.
    • Assist in the creation and coordination of visual content, such as graphics and videos, to enhance social media presence.
    • Support the development of influencer partnerships and engagement strategies.
    • Contribute to the growth of the company's online community by fostering meaningful interactions and connections.

    Qualifications:

    • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program
    • Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Creative mindset with an eye for design and aesthetics.
    • Familiarity with social media analytics tools.
    • Passion for agriculture, sustainability, and agri-commodities.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
    • Basic graphic design and video editing skills are a plus.
