    Coordinator - Regional Security East

    Description

    • Manage approved budget in area of responsibility.
    • Implement security policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) developed by the National Office in the region. 
    • Ensure that all incidents are investigated and reported to the Regional Security Manager in line with approved procedures.   
    • Prepare analytical and statistical reports on operations and activities. 
    • Conduct security surveys of critical facilities to determine level of security threat and exposure. 
    • Prioritize, assign, supervise, review the work and monitor performance of staff responsible for patrol services..
    • Conduct security briefings and security awareness to security staff and MTNN staff respectively.
    • Risk & Threat Assessment - implement risk management strategy that maximizes personnel safety from violence and the threat of violence in area of responsibility
    • Personnel Security – ensure safety of MTNN personnel on personal security such as street crime, assault, robbery, kidnap in area of responsibility
    • Protecting MTNN Assets – ensure safety of Employees, Business operations, Premises, Information, Network infrastructures in area of responsibility
    • Security Liaison/ Intelligence – maintain a harmonious relationship and contacts with various cadre of various security agencies (Police, Military, SSS, etc) in area of responsibility.  Also, exploit the relationship to gain relevant intelligence information that will ensure better protection for MTNN personnel and operations.
    • Investigations –  carry out specific investigations on wrongdoing by staff and criminal activities targeted at MTNN
    • Respond to inquiries, investigate and resolve security related problems.  
    • Security Liaison/ Intelligence – maintain a harmonious relationship and contacts with various cadre of various security agencies (Police, Military, SSS, etc) in area of responsibility.  Also, exploit the relationship to gain relevant intelligence information that will ensure better protection for MTNN personnel and operations.
    • Participate in the selection of patrol staff, staff training, coaching and mentoring and work with employees to implement discipline procedures and execute tasks according to approved guidelines and procedures
    • Ensure safety of MTNN personnel on personal security such as street crime, assault, robbery, kidnap in area of responsibility
    • Drive Knowledge Management and Best Practice Sharing within own Unit/Department/Division/Enterprise-wide as required. 

    Education:

    • First  degree 
    • Formal training in Security Supervision/ Coordination
    • Fluent in English 

    Experience:

    • 3 –7 years experience in an area of specialisation; with experience in supervising others
    • Experience working in a medium  organization
    • Experience in multinational security operations.
    • Experience as Security supervisor in a corporate security environment.

    Coordinator - Care, Human Resources

    Mission:

    Ensure efficient care and claims management under the MTNN-approved health scheme.

    Description:

    • Map trends and provide reports on various medical schemes.
    • Support the quality assurance of health care providers.

    Dealer - Treasury Operations Money Market, Finance

    Mission:

    To perform and manage treasury-related analysis to ensure that there is efficient management of liquidity, optimal bank transactions and investments, and compliance with funding contractual obligations by MTNN

    Description:

    • Collate daily bank indicative quotes for investment placements to aid investment decisions made by Treasury, ensuring that escalated compliance issues and complaints relating to the banking SLAs are followed up.
    • Collate and analyze data on cash movements, exchange rate movements, bank charges, interest rates, lending rates, and placements, ensuring that payments, repayments, interest payments, and underwriting fees are effected as per mandate.
    • Monitor cash sweeps from the various sub accounts to main accounts plus other transfers, liaising with MTNN banks on immediate service issues.
    • Implement tools for corporate cash management, evaluate banks, and ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Collate information on economic conditions, the financial climate, and changes in corporate requirements by carrying out ratio analysis on banks and collecting data on risk ratings and exposure limits.
    • Prepare management reports on market, competitor, and general intelligence that impact the business, maintaining Treasury records and an audit trail in strict compliance with MTNN policies and procedures.
    • Monitor all contracts binding MTNN in relation to MTNN funding.
    • Conduct research and compile data and benchmarking for Treasury.
    • Assist in implementing new business processes within all the MTNN Treasury functions.
    • Implement systems for the efficient administration of the Treasury.
    • Ensure accurate reporting of month-end activities, journals, schedules, and general ledger balances.

    Education:

    • First degree in Accounting, Economics, or any other related discipline
    • Fluent in English
    • Part qualification or membership in a professional accounting association (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CFA)

    Experience:

    • 3–7 years’ experience in an area of specialization, with experience working with others
    • Experience working in a medium-sized organization
    • Experience in a financial environment in Treasury, banking, or an FMCG environment.
    • Familiarity with good accounting practices and the Nigerian policy environment.
    • Extensive bank reconciliation experience.

    Mission:

    To manage and develop trade infrastructure and the channels of distribution especially retailers to ensure MTN dominance at retail in the assigned territory.

    Description:

    • Confirm  that  sub dealers and dealer branches are contacted and stock receipt/movement verified. 
    • Provide informal training in shops on products, services and promotions being run by marketing, channel or region and on-the-spot training/coaching of all visited outlets in territory (100% of all visited outlets in call cycle)
    • Manage events and promos, generate sub-dealer promo specifications and perform post-promo evaluation
    • Provide weekly/monthly sales activity report and market intelligence report to field service engineers
    • Monitor and report back on network quality and other sales impacting indices in territory covered
    • Ensure call cycle time of 8 - 10 visits a day per territory or as business requires
    • Identify, classify and support all players in channels of distribution and ensure  weekly/monthly database update
    • Ensure MTN product availability in channel is >95% at all times and provide weekly product availability report of all visited outlets during call cycles
    • Direct all channel participants to MTN identified growth area within your territory
    • Establish consistent channel standards including branding as per channel recommendation.

    Manager - Fixed Income and FX Structure, Finance

    Mission:

    To provide support in the management of MTNN’s excess cash in the fixed income space in order to preserve cash value, optimize yield and provide sufficient liquidity for the funding of crucial obligations of the business and provide Financial Advisory and management of MTNN’s foreign currency, demand exposure, and settlement of FX-indexed obligation to preserve value, support CAPEX rollout, settle Fx obligations and protect the Business from exchange rate volatilities.

    Description:

    • Lead the implementation and oversight of policy and governance frameworks, procedures, practices, and standards to ensure quality, effective forex risk management and regulatory compliance.
    • Source, negotiate, and enter in competitive and structured Trade contract for the purchase of foreign currency.
    • Proactively monitor foreign currency exchange rates and other exposures relevant to the Company.
    • Create mitigation structure for curtailing FX volatilities within the Bond Approved limits to protect balance sheet from currency volatility.
    • Lead the implementation and oversight of policy and governance frameworks, procedures, practices, and standards to ensure quality, effective forex risk management and regulatory compliance.
    • Define counterparty risk exposure limit for Banks based on defined financial and risk criteria.
    • Update the Investment Policy Statement and asset allocation matrix as required and especially in line with changing business and market factors.
    • Develop trading strategies on fixed income based on market fundamentals and technical analysis.
    • Trade fixed income securities via secure trading platform.
    • Collate daily bank indicative quotes on fixed income securities to aid investment decisions.
    • Provide subject matter expertise and support on the import trade process with special attention to Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) regulatory requirements.
    • Analyse challenges around Forex exposure and liquidity and build solutions leveraging experience and subject matter knowledge.
    • Contribute towards strengthening compliance with and knowledge of CBN regulations and forex solutions across the Business.
    • Build and maintain effective relationship with the Company’s bankers to stay informed on solutions that add value to the MTN business.
    • Find commercially acceptable structures with partners within a VUCA global FX market.

    Education:

    • First degree in Accounting, Economics, or any Finance related discipline.
    • Fluent in English
    • ACI dealership certificate
    • Part qualification/Membership of a professional financial management/accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, Level 2 CFA) 

    Experience:

    • 6-13 years’ experience in an area of specialization; with experience working with others.
    • Experience in Dealing in Instruments, Fixed Income Dealing.
    • FX structuring to preserve value from Volatilities.
    • Experience from International Banking Organization
    • Extensive knowledge in Macro-Economic Analysis and Research.
    • Must have strong understanding of the Nigerian banking industry, currency control regulations, currency solutions (FX hedge instruments), and import trade finance, process, and requirements.
    • Experience working in a medium organization.
    • Experience in good accounting practices and the Nigerian policy environment.
    • Up-to-date knowledge of the foreign exchange market and exchange control compliance.
