    Terminal Technician

    Role Responsibilities

    • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems and equipment within the depot, including Batch Controllers, motors, control panels, wiring, and lighting systems.
    • Ensure all electrical systems are functioning properly and comply with safety standards.
    • Diagnose electrical issues and perform repairs on depot equipment and infrastructure.
    • Use diagnostic tools and techniques to troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults promptly.
    • Assist in major repairs and upgrades under the supervision of senior technicians or engineers.
    • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical systems and equipment.
    • Support upgrades and modifications to existing electrical systems to improve efficiency and reliability.
    • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety guidelines while performing electrical work.
    • Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
    • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
    • Complete work orders and maintenance logs promptly.
    • Report equipment status and any issues encountered during maintenance activities.
    • Assist senior technicians and engineers with complex maintenance tasks and projects.
    • Participate in training sessions and safety drills to improve skills and knowledge.

    Requirements

    • Diploma/Technical Trade Test or associate qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
    • Relevant certifications or training in electrical maintenance & safety is a plus.
    • 1-2 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in an industrial or petroleum depot environment.
    • Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and equipment.
    • Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment used in petroleum depots.
    • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools.
    • Understanding of electrical safety regulations and best practices.
    • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Good organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
    • Effective communication skills to report issues and interact with team members.

    Audit Supervisor

    Job Description

    Accountabilities

    • Assess the risk management techniques/principles of assigned business or functional areas within the required timeline.
    • Identify possible red flags and draft risk-based audit programs for different audit tasks.
    • Carry out the audit of business processes, policies, systems, financials, operations, governance and HSSE.
    • Discuss audit findings/significant variations with relevant staff and senior management after each audit task and proffer suggested solutions.
    • Prepare draft audit report and work papers with minimum supervision.
    • Review the suitability of internal control design and test their operating effectiveness.
    • Perform the audit of business information technology and data management system tools (like ERP).
    • Evaluate the level of business compliance with its policies, processes and existing systems.
    • Discuss possible control issues with relevant business heads to improve and add value to the system.
    • Participate actively in the review of business processes to drive efficiency gains.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory provisions of the businesses.
    • Carry out spot checks and quarterly/periodic inventory counts and reconciliation.
    • Carry out any other duties as may be assigned by the Head, Internal Audit

    Requirements

    • University Degree in Accounting or any other course. 
    • Minimum of 3 - 5 year of cognate experience in similar role, IT/Systems.
    • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports. 
    • Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations. 
    • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
    • Auditor or other audit experience (The “Big 4” is a plus). 
    • Relevant professional qualification (CIA, CISA, ACA, ACCA, etc.) will be an added advantage
    • Systems knowledge and familiarity, ERP (Oracle or Power Enterprise) preferably.
    • Sound independent judgement. 
    • Ability to administer Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook in various situations.
    •  Ability to travel for audit assignments in various locations at short notice

    Head, Maintenance and Engineering

    Role Responsibilities

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the terminals, including product receipt, storage, blending, and refueling equipment dispatch with adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and industry best practices.
    • Oversee the maintenance of Asharami Synergy’s fleet of refueling equipment ensuring 100% uptime across all locations.
    • Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities for terminal and aviation. equipment and systems e.g bowsers, meters, pumps etc.
    • Ensure that all terminal and bowser operations and maintenance activities comply with safety. regulations, environmental standards, and relevant legal requirements.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections, risks assessments, and audits.
    • Liaise and coordinate with external service providers and contractors to perform specialized maintenance tasks or repairs. Manage vendor contracts, negotiate service agreements, and ensure service quality.
    • Develop and implement emergency response plans for terminal incidents. Conduct drills and exercises to prepare the team for potential emergencies.
    • Provide visible leadership to various teams in the Terminals – operators, maintenance technicians, aviation technical team, and engineers.
    • Develop and implement emergency response plans for aviation-related incidents, working closely with relevant teams to mitigate risks and ensure swift and effective response procedures​.
    • Implement and monitor environmental management practices to minimize the environmental impact of the terminal operations.
    • Other responsibilities as assigned

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline with up to 10 years of experience.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years supervisory experience, preferably in a similar role. 
    • Membership of relevant professional association is highly desired. 
    • Vast understanding of terminal operations, maintenance practices, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to assess complex terminal-related issues and develop effective solutions.
    • Strong focus and commitment to safety. 
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
    • Collaborative attitude. 
    • Good relationship management skills. 
    • Optimizing resources for terminal maintenance and operations

    Production Supervisor

    Job Description

    Accountabilities

    • Monitors daily productions and quality control performance records, identifying inefficiencies and taking responsive and corrective actions where necessary assisting in all aspects of the production floor.
    • Report daily production/evacuation targets to Line manager and all other stakeholders, manages delegation of production tasks to team leads and line leads and ensures proper staffing for all tasks.
    • Coordinates and monitors flow of production and is able to forecast work and notice potential problems in the workflow.
    • Assign responsibilities to both operations and maintenance team.
    • Lead the daily toolbox meeting and HSSE moments.
    • Supervise and monitor all maintenance and Operations activities in the FS.

    Requirements

    • A degree preferably in civil/structural, mechanical, chemical, or electrical engineering, or any related technical/operational discipline.
    • A minimum of 5 years of Supervisory experience in the said role in Nigerian Oil and Gas industry
    • Extensive Project management knowledge.
    • Great People Skills.
    • Interpreting and ensuring compliance to safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals to field workers.
