    Customer Service Engineer (Trainee)

    Location: Ikeja, Lagos
    Job type: Temporary (2 years), 100% 

    Description

    • We are looking for passionate Engineers to join our Customer Service Engineer Trainee Program. This is a fixed two years on the job-training program to develop you to a fully trained Buhler Service Engineer with exciting and rewarding career opportunities.
    • The program is structured in a way to encourage and support professional and personal growth in a dynamic work environment.
    • You will be shadowing, supporting, and working side by side with your mentor, an experienced Service Engineer during the training program.
    • After successful completion of the program, you are well-equipped for further growth and specialization in fields like Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Automation, Sales, Technology, and Installation/Site-Management.

    Responsibilities

    • Install, inspect, start-up, troubleshoot and repair production equipment.
    • Perform of maintenance jobs on machine basis.
    • Performance of simple retrofit actions.
    • Read technical diagrams and schematics.
    • Remote Troubleshooting (via phone, remote access, VR glasses).
    • Plant audits.
    • Creation of delegation reports.
    • Assurance of the quality and quantity of the activities carried out.
    • Coordination of and collaboration with customer technicians during startups or maintenance jobs.
    • Coordination of all tasks with other functions within the Business Unit, e.g. sales, machine design, spare parts services, plus information tailored to specific addressees needs.
    • Wire up motors and drives.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in preferably Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Automation.
    • 0 - 2 years of experience in the equipment industry, including experience in the field of specialization.
    • Open for the domestic and international travels.
    • Fluent communication in English language.

    Job Requirements:

    • Prior work experience as a Service Engineer (Internship, Full-Time) is an advantage.
    • French, German, or local languages (Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo) proficiency is an advantage.
    • Inter-cultural sensitivity and ability to communicate, collaborate and work across cultures and borders in an international work environment.
    • Willingness to learn new skills.
    • Good communication skills, including the ability to interface effectively with people inside and outside of the company.

    Sales Coordinator

    Job Responsibilities

    • We are looking for skilled and highly motivated professional to join the team as Sales Coordinator.
    • Offer sales and coordination support for internal and external teams.
    • Drive market share and business growth in line with the group and regional business plan via channel partner network.
    • Build and further develop channel partners, new markets opportunities, distribution channels, and reseller network in the Nigerian Market.
    • Work with Sales and Channel Partners to develop sale proposals, quotations, and pricing.
    • Improve overall performance in sales, marketing, and customer service in the territory.
    • Manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales, and identify new business opportunities.

    Educational Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Process Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Food Engineering / Engineering Management.
    • Master’s Degree in relevant field is of advantage.

    Job Requirements:

    • Minimum of 5 years of sound professional experience in Project and Single Machine Sales.
    • Proven ability to work in a matrix organization.
    • Track record in channel and reseller management.
    • Excellent market knowledge in Africa.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to interface effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

    Customer Service Sales Engineer

    Job Description

    • We are looking for a skilled and highly motivated engineer to join our team as Customer Service Sales Engineer.
    • This position develops new client relationships and business for the sale of spare parts, retrofits, single machine products and service level agreements to customers in Nigeria.

    Responsibilities

    • Sell service products (spare parts, service level agreements, retrofits, plant audits) and single machine products.
    • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
    • Establish, manage, and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
    • Prepare action plans and schedules to increase business activities in the assigned territory.
    • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
    • Align and complement market activities together with existing Area Sales/Service Manager in the assigned territory.
    • Identify, handle, and resolve customer complaints/concerns.
    • Identify and understand customer needs.
    • Communicate new product and service opportunities and special developments gathered through field activity to the Supervisor.
    • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
    • Ensures that client data in CRM is up to date.
    • Prepare presentations and proposals.
    • Participate in marketing events such as seminars.
    • Prepares quotation and generates sales leads for equipment/plant business.
    • Implements the sales targets of the company in his market territory.
    • Optimum customer service and support.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
    • Minimum of 3 years of working experience in Grains and Food processing industry, or similar.
    • Fluent communication skill in English language. Local languages (Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo) proficiency is an advantage.
    • Ability to conduct sales conversations and contract negotiations.
    • Willingness to travel.

    Requirements:

    • With PSSR (Parts, Sales and Service Representative) experience is an advantage.
    • Deep knowledge of Grains and Food processing.
    • Excellent knowledge of sales and customer relationship management.
    • Has the ability to develop technical/technological ideal solutions with and for the customers.
    • Has an excellent command of presentation and negotiation techniques.
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to interface effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Proven ability to work in a matrix organization.
