    Science & Mathematics Teacher (Secondary School)

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking qualified and experienced Mathematics and Physics teachers for our senior secondary school classes.
    • The successful candidates will have a passion for teaching and mentoring young adults and a deep understanding of the Nigerian curriculum.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and teach a comprehensive Mathematics or Physics curriculum to senior secondary school students.
    • Establish a supportive and engaging classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning
    • Evaluate students’ performance by giving class work, homework and exam.
    • Grade students work
    • Assist students with problem solving skills
    • Provide regular assessments and feedback to students on their progress

    Job Description

    • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's business goals and objectives.
    • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
    • Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending appropriate actions.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, legal regulations, and tax requirements.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
    • Proven track record of financial leadership, including strategic planning, financial analysis, and financial reporting.
    • Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and tax regulations.
    • Experience in the real estate or construction industry is preferred.

    Proposed Salary:450k to 500k gross. The proposed salary for the CFO position will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

    Executive Assistant

    Job Overview:

    A dynamic service company with interests in Accounting, Audit Assurance, Tax Consultancy, Advisory and Business Consultancy services require a Executive assistant for the Chief Executive.The Executive Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative and technical support to the Chief Executive. In this role, the candidate will collaborate with the team to manage technical projects, provide administrative support, and coordinate various activities that ensure the smooth running of the Chief Executive’s activities and office

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Organize and prioritize the Chief Executive’s daily activitiesin advance for his approval including scheduling meetings,arranging travel, and responding to emails.
    2. Provide technical support to the Chief Executive, including conducting research, data analysis, and interpretation of information.
    3. Coordinate and oversee the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and other relevantdocuments.
    4. Maintain the Chief Executive’s files, records and databases includingconfidentiality of sensitive information.
    5. Work closely with Audit & Assurance, Tax Consultancy, Business Development, Operations, and finance teams to ensure closeout of critical projects and follow-up.
    6. Occasional remote working with the Chief Executive, Business Development, Operations, and finance in-country and outside the country (Local andInternational).
    7. Update the Chief Executive on critical information as it arises, track project progress, and ensure that milestones are achieved on-time.
    8. Ensure all correspondence and documents are accurate, concise, and of high quality, usingappropriate tools and maintaining version control.
    9. Collaborate with the Confidential secretary /Administrator in running the Lagos offices of the company
    10. Work the CEO to meet targets and deadlines by clients .
    11. Act as liaison between the Chief Executive and other organizational units and stakeholders,ensuring that the communication flows effectively.
    12. Develop and maintain relationships at all levels, including internal and external customers,suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
    13. Support efficient implementation of new and current technical processes, programs, tools, and practices as directed.
    14. All other tasks related to the above functions as delegated by the CEO.

    QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

    1. Graduate degree qualificationin Accounting, Business Admin or a related Finance course with  ICAN or ACCA certification 
    2. Must reside on the Island for proximity ( this is required please) candidates on the mainland need not apply please
    3. Candidates with Masters degree without ICAN or ACCA will be considered .
    4. 2-4 years of administrative and executive support experience in a  finance, business consultancy environment or related field
    5. Previous experience working in an audit firm is an added advantage
    6. Knowledge of project management principles and tools.
    7. Experience with Audit Assurance/ Tax consultancy is an added advantage
    8. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
