About the role
The Logistics officer will be stationed in Christian Aid Maiduguri office, Borno state. He/she will focus on Logistics supports but also work in close cooperation with other Logistics and field staff to ensure that related Logistics issues are coordinated. S/he be responsible for ensuring the implementation of the Logistics activities by coordinating with staff on the field and all stakeholders. The post holder will coordinate the distribution of all Agricultural inputs and livestock for the Livelihood project.
About you
You must have a first degree in any of the Social Sciences or related field with at least 2 years’ experience of working with local and international partner organisations. You should have good knowledge of working in a humanitarian programme environment. Knowledge of providing logistics support to programmes and programme staff in international/national and local agencies is essential. You are required to have strong writing, analytical and documentation skills. You are required to be knowledgeable about development issues and current affairs especially in Northern Nigeria.

About the role
The Senior Programme Coordinator (SPC) Food Security and Nutrition will provide day to day oversight and strategic leadership on the development and implementation involving management of all aspects of the programme, including recruitment and performance management, assessments, designing, planning, implementation, monitoring staff capacity building, reporting and technical support to the Food Security and Nutrition Programme. He/she will be responsible for managing Christian Aid WFP Food Security and Nutrition programmes, projects and partnerships as well as the effective management of significant budget funds.

About the role
The role holder will support Christian Aid’s response to the humanitarian crisis in Nigeria with special focuses on monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning sector interventions. She/he will support Christian Aid’s funded programmes which are implemented by Christian Aid and it partners in Borno and other northeast states. The role holder will assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of Christian Aid’s MEAL & Humanitarian Response, providing effective and timely support (including capacity building) to liberated communities and partner organizations, enabling them to implement the rapid, effective and principled MEAL response to emergencies, and ensuring that this is in line with Christian Aid’s country strategy and Humanitarian Standards. The role holder will be representing CAID in sector working groups meetings/activities and engage in the right networks, while increasing the profile of CA Humanitarian and resilience work and its visibility in the region.
About you
The post holder should have a first degree in social sciences or BSC in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Engineering with 3 to 5 years experience of working in humanitarian response with local and/international partner organizations. He/she is required to have a strong positive attitude and ability to manage a wide range of issues of complicated procedures, indicated by 3-5 years learning period. The post holder is required to have excellent report writing and communication skills, both written and verbal.
