    Medical Officer

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time role for a Medical Officer at Daniel Adewole Awe Medical Center located in Ilesa, Osun State.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing patient care to patients, including diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, interpreting medical tests and referring patients to specialists when necessary.
    • The Medical Officer will also work closely with other healthcare professionals and contribute to a team-based approach to care.

    Qualifications

    • Medical degree from an accredited institution
    • Registration certificate and valid annual medical license issued by Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria
    • At least 2 years work experience post NYSC
    • Any other relevant qualification is an asset

    Skills

    • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a team-based environment, and to collaborate with other healthcare professionals
    • Experience in providing primary medical care, urgent care and preventive care
    • Experience in emergency medicine, ultrasound and surgery are assets
    • A strong work ethic with a commitment to patient care and safety
    • Willingness to learn and keep up-to-date with medical advances and technologies
    • Proficiency with IT - desktop publishing, organizational email and cloud storage, virtual meeting and conferencing
    • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and telehealth.

    Front Desk Officer

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time on-site role as a Front Desk Officer at Daniel Adewole Awe Medical Center in Ilesa.
    • The Front Desk Officer will be responsible for handling receptionist duties, providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors, managing office equipment, and assisting with office administration tasks.

    Qualifications

    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and the healthcare team
    • Knowledge of MS Office
    • Experience in receptionist duties, such as managing phone calls, scheduling appointments, and greeting patients
    • A customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to handle diverse patient interactions professionally and with empathy
    • Proficiency in operating office equipment, such as computers, printers, and telephone systems
    • Knowledge of office administration procedures and ability to effectively manage administrative tasks
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
