    Project Manager (Fintech)

    Objective:

    •  We are looking for an innovative, self-driven and ambitious Project Manager to join our Project Management team! As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, Coordination, and completion of projects within the stipulated timeline.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Ensure set-up of all project schedules/plan using relevant project management tool.
    • Track completion of all project activities on a daily and weekly basis against approved project plan and identify possible delays/risks.
    • Engage relevant stakeholders in relations to project activities and ensure timely completion of project tasks/deliverables within stipulated timeline.
    • Prepare status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
    • Ensure availability of internal resources (project participants), client teams and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
    • Delegate tasks to relevant stakeholders for the purpose of ensuring timely completion of projects.
    • Make occasional visits to the client office as and when required.
    • Ensure that project contracts are signed at the beginning of a project and project completion documents are signed off by relevant stakeholders at the end of a project.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science or other related fields
    • 5+ years of related work experience in Fintech, software company, Banking, IT Infrastructure, Telecommunication company etc.
    • Prior experience as a Project Manager in software, Payment, and banking.
    • Project management certifications.
    • Stays abreast with latest innovations and trends in technology like blockchain, open banking, etc
    • Entrepreneurial self-starter who is self-motivated, but also a team player with a professional presence
    • Demonstrates thought leadership and is able to influence at all levels in the organization
    • Knowledge of Lead and Agile software development processes
    • Strong attention to detail, great communication skills and works well in a team.

    Legal Compliance Officer

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a Legal Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to relevant legislation, regulations and also advise management on compliance measures within our organization.

    Responsibilities

    • Monitor provisions of relevant legislation and the regulatory enactments and advise Management on appropriate compliance measures.
    • Ensure compliance with provisions of relevant Extant laws and regulations.
    • Study and extract compliance information from new or amendments to laws and regulations, interpret and educate operators on the compliance needs.
    • Ensure timely submission of statutory and regulatory reports.
    • Attend to correspondence that may be referred to him, collate information and write reports.
    • Advise on the compliance implications of government decisions and policies.
    • Any other assignment that may arise from time to time.

    Requirements

    • First degree in law (L.LB) from a recognized Nigerian or foreign University
    • Law school certificate (BL)
    • Masters degree (L.LM) in law from a recognized Nigerian or foreign University or any masters degree in a related discipline or a recognized professional certificate will be an added advantage.
    • Should have a minimum of 3 years working experience in the compliance section of an Insurance industry or financial institution or Law firm.
    • Relevant knowledge of Regulatory/Statutory provisions.
    • Good understanding of the relevant regulatory environment.
    • IT proficiency will also be an added advantage.
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Must have an eye for details and be painstaking.
    • Ensure Compliance with relevant extant law and all statutory requirements.
    • Maintain statutory books.
