    Rotating Equipment Engineer

    Locations: Port Harcourt - Rivers & Lagos

    Main Assignment

    • Ability to identify and utilizes relevant engineering standards and codes related to Rotating Equipment Engineering.
    • Reviews/checks drawings and documents from Vendor, Detailed design, material requisition, and Other engineering discipline team members, As required attend FAT and SAT
    • Supervise vendor and or installation team during site work at a critical stage Solution Development and Delivery Technical support to on all Rotating and Static Equipment Engineering & Maintenance matters, and provision of expert technical advice, including but not limited to, on the following subjects:
    • Reviews and validation of Rotating equipment engineering
    • Coordinate detailed design, Vendor package, and client interface on a Rotating equipment package.
    • Delivery of the Mechanical (Static & Rotating) activities in the Maintenance and Inspection Engineering (MIE) plan
    • Develop maintenance Manual base on vendor documentation
    • Coordination with vendors and the original equipment manufacturers for all queries regarding maintenance, modifications, spare parts, drawings and the resolution of technical problems
    • In close collaboration with the Inspection team, provision of technical support to inspection requirements on the mechanical assets as necessary
    • During commissioning phase for all Rotating and Static equipment, leading the coordination with Company for oversight on deviations and maintenance engineering input into design, 3D model and constructability reviews as well as Factory and Site Acceptance Testing Technical Effort Management.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field from an accredited university
    • 10+ years of experience as a Rotating Equipment Specialist Engineer or in a similar position in the Oil and Gas or manufacturing industry.

    Requirements:

    • Expertise in the operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of turbo-machinery with at least 10 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, with at least 4 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
    • Very good knowledge of multi-stage compressor pumps and LNG cryogenics services
    • Knowledge of the basics related to the process and equipment of oil and gas treatment installations
    • Experience in LNG plants (desirable).

    Communication:

    • Facilitates team and client meetings effectively.
    • Holds regular status meetings with the Project departments.
    • Keeps Project team well informed of changes within the organization and general corporate news.
    • Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.

    Static & Rotating Equipment Technician (Mechanical)

    Responsibilities

    • Work un-supervised assembling and tightening bolted joints.
    • Correctly use bolt tensioning, torgueing, nut splitting and flange spreading equipment.
    • Carries out the required number of bolting specialism to a competent standard.
    • Adhere to safe and specified pressures when tightening or torgueing joints.
    • Assess specific task requirements including identifying potential hazards through the use of risk assessments.
    • Accurate and timely competition and submission of all job related documentation including flange tightening reports/joints completion certificates, customer time sheets and expenses forms.
    • Work closely with other disciplines on site to ensure the professional and safe completion of all tasks.
    • Interfaces with the client on site in a professional manner and represent our company to the highest standards at all times.
    • Work predominantly within all onshore and offshore environment.
    • Adheres to all site related procedures and processes including permit to work.etc.

    Senior Electrical Engineer

    Job Responsibilities

    • Assist the Head of Electrical Maintenance in the provision of technical support to the site maintenance teams for electrical / HVAC equipment and systems.
    • Supervise the development and planning of minor electrical modifications and improvement projects, to ensure safe, timely and cost effective execution in accordance with company standards and specifications.
    • Prepare scope of work for approved work programs ensuring that all relevant operating procedures and safety regulations are clearly outlined.
    • Prepare bill of material for electrical work and ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are available as and when required.
    • Prepare scope of work and calls for bids and issue these to contractors invited to tender for electrical works to be performed.
    • Ensure that the procurement of electrical/HVAC materials and equipment matches the project objectives.
    • Support the lead Electrical Engineer in the management of the electrical detailed engineering activities.
    • Supervise execution of electrical / HVAC modification works at site by external contractor ensuring that the proper procedures are followed and that all modifications are properly documented and carried out according to stated standards.
    • Assist with the analysis of equipment malfunctions and makes recommendation for repair and future preventive action.
    • Assist with the preparation of the preventive maintenance schedule for electrical/HVAC plant and equipment.
    • Ensure that the planned preventive maintenance is carried out as planned.
    • Monitors and updates materials MRP data, review stock quantities, usage and consumption to minimize the stock value whilst ensuring that all spare parts are available for routine, breakdown and shutdown maintenance.
    • Support the Head Electrical Engineer in the preparation of company’s estimate and yearly budget plans and follows up on any budget variation or reconciliation issues with NAPIMS.
    • Troubleshoot complex or recurring electrical problems which require technical analysis and resolution with the help of other departments, vendors or original equipment manufacturers and recommend sound and cost-effective solutions.
    • Administer the electrical/HVAC planned preventive program, to ensure that the maintenance tasks undertaken are adequate to prevent unplanned equipment failure.
    • Liaise with vendors and the original equipment manufacturers for all queries regarding maintenance, modifications, spare parts, drawings, and the resolution of technical problems.
    • Ensure that all drawings, plans, manuals and Maintenance Equipment Log Book (MELB) are up-to-date and “as-built” and directs draftsmen to carry out all corrections and reflect any alterations, modifications and additions to electrical equipment system.
    • Review and check work completed by contractors ensures compliance with work is satisfactorily completed, make necessary corrections, and submit to the Maintenance Methods Engineer for endorsement.

    Job Profile

    • B.Sc. (Engineering Degree) in Electrical or Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
    • Minimum of 15 years experience working with electrical plant and equipment within an Oil and gas or Petrochemical environment.
    • Good knowledge of electrical HV and LV systems.
    • Technical reporting, good mathematical skills and basic computer software skills.
    • 10 years or more.
    • H2 B2 Electrical.

    Electrical Technician

    Job Responsibilities

    • Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and apparatus. Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
    • Constructing and fabricating parts, using hand tools and specifications.
    • Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.

    Senior Consultant

    Job Description / Responsibilities

    • A Senior Consultant will perform as an individual contributor on client engagement teams, working under the supervision of an Engagement Director and/or Partner, to develop work product, lead specific project initiatives, and act as a subject matter expert on consulting projects.     • The candidate will be a University Degree holder at Master Degree Level in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related discipline in addition to professional certifications (CIPMN, ACA, ACCA, etc).
    • He/She will have strong leadership and management skills and be able to show evidence of principled leadership, budget and revenue performance.

    Mechanical Engineer (Static Equipment)

    Responsibilities

    • Perform technical tasks assigned by the Static Equipment Lead, related to design, verification or study activities of Reactors, Columns, Vessels, Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers, Storage Tanks, Air Coolers.
    • Interface with other Equipment Engineers.
    • Coordinate some technical activities performed inside or outside Saipem.
    • Perform the follow up of supplies with the selected Vendor after the Purchase Order award.
    • Perform the estimation of each item (weight/cost) as well as define the class of good of each item and the relevant level of inspection
