    Service Executive, General Services

    Responsibilities

    • Supervise all maintenance processes and operations.
    • Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance.
    • Maintain all machinery to ensure it’s at working standards.
    • Create and implement maintenance procedures.
    • Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
    • Plan and manage all repair and installation activities.
    • Ensure all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures.
    • Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates.
    • Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
    • Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary

    Requirements

    • A good Bachelor's Degree or HND in Construction or Engineering field (Minimum of Second Class Lower or Upper Credit)
    • Not more than 27 years
    • Experience in facility management will be an added advantage.
    • Experience: Preferably candidates with construction and engineering background.

    Field Engineering Supervisor

    Job Summary

    • As a Field Engineering Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the field engineering operations of the Organization.
    • You will be responsible for leading a team of field engineers and technicians, ensuring the successful execution of installation, maintenance, and repair tasks for our telecom network infrastructure.
    • Your expertise will be essential in optimizing performance, maintaining quality standards, and driving operational efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Team Leadership: Supervise and guide a team of field engineers and technicians, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a high-performing and motivated workforce.
    • Project Management: Plan, organize, and prioritize field engineering tasks to meet project deadlines, ensuring effective resource allocation and coordination of activities with other teams and departments.
    • Field Operations: Oversee field operations, including site surveys, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of telecom network infrastructure components, such as antennas, towers, cables, and transmission equipment.
    • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies during field operations, conducting quality audits, and inspections, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
    • Technical Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of telecommunications systems, equipment, and technologies to provide technical guidance and support to the field engineering team when faced with complex issues. '
    • Customer Service: Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to address customer inquiries, resolve escalated issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely and effective problem resolution.
    • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of field activities, including work orders, inventory, equipment inspections, and progress reports, and provide regular reports to management on field operations and performance metrics.
    • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement in field engineering operations, and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices and standard operating procedures.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
    • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the telecommunications industry.
    • Strong technical knowledge of telecom network infrastructure, including antennas, towers, cables, transmission equipment, and related technologies.
    • Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in telecom field operations.
    • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and stakeholders.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to troubleshoot complex technical issues
    • Proficient in using computer software and applications for documentation, reporting, and data analysis.
    • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various work sites as needed.
