    Driver

    OVERVIEW

    Our client is a leading interior solutions provider based in Lagos looking to hire a driver.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Driver would be responsible for:

    • Driving company representatives to business meetings as well as social functions
    • Maintaining vehicle cleanliness both inside and outside on a daily basis
    • Ensuring prompt servicing of vehicles when needed through vehicle maintenance personnel approved by the Supervisor
    • Keeping track of general maintenance schedules, like car tyre condition, car papers renewals, oil gauge etc.
    • Taking shortest distance routes through the use of GPS navigational systems or maps within Lagos State
    • Dealing peacefully with unforeseen circumstances or delays while driving
    • Performing any other task that may be assigned

     REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of SSCE
    • At least three (3) years of experience as a driver
    • A valid Nigerian driver’s license with an excellent driving record
    • Excellent knowledge of various Lagos routes and road signs
    • Knowledge of GPS devices and maps
    • Good communication skills; should be able to read and write
    • Must be reliable, punctual, time conscious and flexible
    • Should understand and observe all state safety regulations

    Inventory Officer

    Details:

    Inventory Officer needed at an Interior Solution Provider firm.

     OVERVIEW

    Our client is a leading interior solution provider based in Lagos, looking to hire a competent Inventory Officer to monitor and report on the company’s inventory

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    The inventory officer will:

    • Receive and warehouse items correctly according to industry standards and specifications to minimize the possibility of damage or deterioration.
    • Inspect supplies and materials to identify defects and shortages.
    • Ensure product stock is adequate and can cover demand when needed.
    • Place orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus.
    • Record deliveries to reconcile inventory.
    • Compare the quantities of items physically present in the warehouse to the inventory records of a warehouse.
    • Investigate the discrepancy (if any) in the stock on hand and in the records.
    • Report damaged or missing inventory to line manager.
    • Perform any other task that may be assigned from time to time.

     REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s degree with at least a 2:2 grade in the relevant field
    • Proven experience as an inventory officer or similar profession
    • Excellent knowledge of data analysis
    • An analytical mind with strong mathematical skills
    • Excellent organization and attention to detail
    • Must be reliable and trustworthy
    • Working knowledge of inventory management software (ERP) is a plus
