Accountant at Proten

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner
• Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
• Manage vendor relationships, ensuring payments are made in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Support the annual audit process by providing documentation and responding to auditor requests
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Professional Qualification is an added advantage 
• Minimum of 3  - 5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong focus on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
