Asst. RIg Mechanic at ICS Outsourcing Limited

 JOB DESCRIPTION

• Familiarize himself with all mechanical equipment, especially related, and maintain/repair as instructed by his senior mechanic/Driller/Drilling Supervisor.
• Liaising with drilling team regarding equipment repairs, maintenance and planning to minimize the risk of delay through equipment breakdown or downtime.
• Perform a regular inspection of Drilling Machinery and report.
• Immediately rectify or report to drilling supervisor / Senior Mechanic any defects or discrepancies in Drill rig or associated equipment like- Generators, Water pump, Water carting truck, pickup etc.
• Responsibility for care and maintenance of all mechanical tools and workshops equipment.
• Prepare ordering of mechanical maintenance / breakdown / spares.
• Maintain his work area in a clean and tidy condition and free from any safety hazards.
• Familiarize himself with reporting regarding the maintenance report-based maintenance system on board.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge about safety precautions at drill site/mines and work in obeying HSE guidelines.
• Must be a vocational or trade school graduate(automotive)
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to read and understand parts and service manuals.
• Must have the ability to troubleshoot simple engine and hydraulic problems.
• Must have at least five years’ experience in drilling/Mining operations
