    Bakers

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Baker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, following established recipes and procedures, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
    • The Baker will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhere to health and safety regulations, and collaborate effectively with other team members.

    Key Responsibilities
    Baking:

    • Prepare and bake a variety of goods such as bread, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other desserts.
    • Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure consistency and quality.
    • Adjust oven temperatures, baking times, and ingredient mixes as necessary to produce high-quality products.

    Preparation:

    • Measure and mix ingredients to prepare doughs, batters, fillings, and icings.
    • Operate baking equipment such as mixers, ovens, and proofers safely and efficiently.
    • Decorate and finish baked goods with precision and creativity.

    Quality Control:

    • Monitor the quality of raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet standards.
    • Conduct taste tests and inspect products for visual appeal and texture.

    Inventory and Ordering:

    • Assist in managing inventory levels and placing orders for ingredients and supplies as needed.
    • Ensure proper storage of ingredients to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage.

    Sanitation and Safety:

    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment and tools.
    • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food safety and hygiene practices.
    • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

    Team Collaboration:

    • Work closely with other bakers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
    • Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members as needed.
    • Communicate effectively with the team to coordinate production and delivery schedules.

    Qualifications
    Education:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Formal baking or culinary training is preferred.
    • Candidate must live within Ketu Axis.

    Experience:

    • Proven experience as a baker or in a similar role.
    • Familiarity with baking techniques, equipment, and ingredients.
    • Experience in a commercial or retail bakery is a plus.

    Skills:

    • Strong attention to detail and precision in following recipes and decorating baked goods.
    • Good time-management skills and ability to work under pressure.
    • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
    • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy ingredients or equipment.

    Working Conditions:

    • Ability to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
    • Exposure to heat, humidity, and potentially hazardous equipment.
    • Fast-paced environment requiring multitasking and adherence to deadlines.
