    Branch Business Officer

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • To drive the business of the company.
    • To lead and direct the activities of the branch business team (Marketers)
    • Proper and adequate understanding of the products and services.
    • To market and sell the products and services of the company (Loans, investments etc.)
    • Creation of quality loan.
    • Must be able to have a good understanding of the group lending model.
    • To increase the customer base of the company.
    • To grow the loan portfolio of the company in line with the strategic set target and ensure portfolio quality is achieved at all times.
    • Ensure proper and adequate monitoring of the entire portfolio.
    • Retainership of customers
    • Carry out appraisal/verification of prospective and existing/repeating customers before disbursement.
    • Feedback - Give reports for management decision-making where necessary.
    • Report to the General Manager.

    Qualification Requirements

    • HND / BSc in Marketing, Business Administration and other related discipline.
    • A minimum of 2 years of cognate experience in the microfinance industry is required.
    • Good display of computer skills (Microsoft office tools)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Good interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Understanding of microfinance institution best practices and regulations.
    • Ability to work under pressure.

    • Possesses competent leadership skills.
    • Drive the business to achieve set objectives
    • Creative, adaptable, and familiar with current market trend
    • Ability to analyze financial records and data
    • Assist team members in achieving branch goals when the need arises
    • Ability to analyze problems and proffer solution
    • Focuses on branch growth and customer service satisfaction
    • Accurate and precise attention to detail.
