    Chemical Materials Specialist and Analyst

    Educational Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrochemistry, or a related field.  
    • A Master’s or Ph.D. in a specialized area related to battery technology or electrochemistry is an added advantage.

    Experience:

    • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, preferably related to the manufacturing industry.
    • Experience with laboratory equipment, analytical techniques, and chemical processes.
    • Proven track record of successful material identification and implementation.
    • Deep knowledge of electrochemical processes.
    • Proficiency in analytical techniques such as spectroscopy, chromatography, and electrochemical analysis.
    • Ability to conduct literature reviews, and patent searches, and stay updated with the latest research in the field of battery technology.
    • Experience in designing and conducting experiments to validate material choices.
    • Proficiency in using chemical modelling and simulation software and processes is an added advantage.
    • Knowledge of data analysis software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to evaluate the feasibility and performance of materials.
    • Excellent communication skills to present findings and collaborate with R&D, production, and other departments.
    • Ability to work independently and take initiative in identifying and testing new materials.
    • Familiarity with safety protocols related to battery production.
    • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices for battery production.
    • Commitment to staying updated with advancements in battery technologies.
    • Ability to work in a laboratory setting, handle chemicals, and operate equipment.
    • Innovative and forward-thinking, always looking for the next breakthrough material or method.
