    Chief Financial Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of Louise Marie Stage School.
    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies, managing financial risks, and ensuring the school's financial stability and growth.
    • The CFO will work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to drive strategic planning and financial decision-making.

    Key Responsibilities

    Financial Strategy and Planning:

    • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the school’s goals and objectives.
    • Lead the annual budgeting process and long-term financial planning.
    • Provide financial forecasts and develop financial models to support strategic initiatives.

    Financial Management and Reporting:

    • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
    • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to the board of directors and stakeholders.
    • Manage cash flow, investment activities, and funding requirements.

    Risk Management and Compliance:

    • Identify and manage financial risks, including those related to investments, assets, and liabilities.
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
    • Coordinate internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations.

    Leadership and Team Management:

    • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial transparency and alignment with organizational goals.

    Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Act as a financial advisor to the CEO and the board of directors.
    • Liaise with external stakeholders, including banks, investors, and regulatory bodies.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in the education or non-profit sector.
    • Proven track record of strategic financial planning and execution.
    • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
    • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
