Combination Welders Mate at Engineering Automation Technology Limited (EATECH)

Job Description:

• We are looking for a qualified and experienced Combination Welders’ Mate to join our dynamic team.
• The ideal applicant will be providing crucial support to qualified welders in various welding processes and tasks assigned in the organisation.

Key Duties/Responsibilities (Summary):

• Assists perform all welding for all Construction activity within and outside the base.
• Assist in preparing working materials by clamping, cutting or applying chemical solutions to piping.
• Shall assist in performing pre-weld tests to ensure that materials are ready for welding
• Operate and use power saws, chipping knife and hand shears in cutting, bevelling and contouring metal work during work activities.
• Assist in assembling, installing and preparing pipe components and systems according to specifications
• Shall assist in conducting work assignments to determine appropriate welding methods and equipment
• Assist in Set up and operation of requisite hand and power tools common to the welding activities

Requirements, Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum SSCE with not less than 5 years’ experience as a Combination Welders.
• Basic knowledge on engineering drawings. And welder
• Excellent in interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand the layout of piping systems.
• Ability to use various fitting tools/equipment.
