    Content & Community Specialist

    The Role

    • The Content & Community Specialist will be working with the team to tell the stories that matter to us as we build a brand that will transform service delivery on the continent.
    • You’ll be telling stories about our work, how we do it; our customers, and what is beneficial to them.
    • Your stories will increase Eden’s brand awareness, convince leads to become customers, educate customers, and drive people to action every time.

    Requirements

    • 3 years of experience managing brand pages & communities with specific experience in brand and marketing writing.
    • Bsc in relevant fields; Marketing, Communications.
    • You’re an excellent writer. If you don’t feel excellent (enough), don’t let it stop you from applying.
    • Experience & high proficiency using Google Analytics, Google Suit, Canva and Buffer.
    • Proven skills in analyzing data, carrying out trend analysis and reporting data insights. ****
    • Experimental mindset, able to think critically to innovate and solve problems.
    • Have high fluency in all major social media platforms (Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram, Facebook.)
    • High attention to detail.
    • High organization and collaboration skills. You know how to work effectively with diverse stakeholders to achieve goals.
    • Strong storytelling abilities. You understand that good content is engaging; because it pulls the consumer in.
    • You understand that good content drives action (sharing, sign-ups, comments etc).

    Responsibilities

    Own & manage all Eden Social Media accounts

    • Grow Implement tactics that grow and expand our followership and drive engagement across our platforms
    • Create and drive end to end social media campaigns.
    • Identify and engage stakeholders in various communities implementing community engagement that drives brand awareness and customer acquisition.

    Content Creation, Planning & Execution

    • Create and publish relevant content across different Eden platforms; Web, Social, and Email.
    • Create content calendars and plans. You’ll work with teams to produce content across various formats; Video, Photography, Audio, etc.
    • You’ll continue to push the boundaries of experimentation and what is possible with content. Come with your best ideas, and we’ll create a place where executing it and aligning them with business goals is possible.

    Data Reporting and Analysis

    • You’ll be paying close attention to the metrics that matter to you, and have them at your fingertips every time.
    • Carry out routine performance & trend analysis, pulling actionable insights from your numbers.
