Background
In the context of the WHO Health Emergencies Incident Management System (IMS), at the EOC state level, the incumbent will be responsible for managing GIS systems, collect, analyse, update, and maintain geospatial datasets pertaining to the emergency incident, coordinate field data collection, create maps and other cartographic products, as required; to enable team leads within the incident management system and health cluster partners to take strategic decisions
Main Objective Of Assignment
The mission of WHO's PEP Programme (The Programme) is to build the capacity of Member States to manage health emergency risks and, when national/state capacities are overwhelmed, to lead and coordinate the SIAs/OBRs response to contain outbreaks and to provide effective relief and recovery to affected populations.
