Job Description

• The Head, Financial Management & IT will work closely with the COO to coordinate internal operation processes across different support functions within the organization.
• The position holder will work on multi-disciplinary projects to advance the organization’s strategic vision.
• The Head, Financial Management & IT is expected to be well-organized, exhibit a keen attention to detail, and skilled in process optimization. 

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the board of directors.
• Manage the organization's budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Oversee the organization's accounting and treasury functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.
• Manage the organization's information technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking.
• Ensure that the organization's technology systems support business operations and strategic objectives.
• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the security and integrity of data.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT services.
• Develop and manage the IT budget.

Educational Qualifications, Experience, and Attributed Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management and/or IT leadership roles.
• Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyze financial data and make sound business decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate financial and technical information to non-financial and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure and software applications, including enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and cloud-based services.
• Experience in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
