    Head of Partnership

    Summary

    The position holder will be responsible for developing and implementing a partnership strategy that aligns with the firm's business goals and drives both financial growth and social impact. He/she will write grant proposals to secure funding, lead donor engagement, renewable energy, ESG, and climate change initiatives, manage stakeholders, and identify new partnership opportunities focused on sustainable development goals and renewable energy programmes.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive partnerships strategy that aligns with the firm’s business goals, driving both financial growth and social impact.
    • Write compelling grant proposals that secure funding from international donors, governments, and private institutions.
    • Lead donor engagement, particularly within the agriculture and renewable energy sectors, including solar energy, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), and climate change initiatives.
    • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including NGOs, development agencies, and governmental bodies.
    • Identify new partnership opportunities, focusing on sustainable development goals, climate initiatives, and renewable energy programmes.

    Educational Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • A Master's degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage

    Knowledge, Skills & Experience

    • Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience.
    • Demonstrated success in grant writing and securing multi-million dollar funding from major donors.
    • Deep experience in business development within donor ecosystems, with a focus on agriculture or solar energy.
    • Strong understanding of ESG, sustainability, and climate change agendas.
    • Exceptional relationship management and networking skills.
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
