    Head, Sales

    Job Purpose

    As the head of sales, you will be the lead in our sales and growth team, responsible for creating partnerships and acquiring and maintaining relationships with merchants and partners. You will be involved in developing strategies for market penetration and business spread. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the process of acquiring new merchants and partners is seamless and customer experiences are in line with industry best practices.

    Responsibilities

    • Acquire and onboard new clients/merchants to subscribe/integrate to our products and services.
    • Develop sales plans and other strategic approaches to achieving the set KPIs.
    • Drive business stability, growth, and enhanced profitability for products and services.
    • Collaborate with other business support teams like business solutions, product development, etc. to ensure that products are well developed and perform optimally against the set targets.
    • anage relationships with existing clients and seek and create opportunities to cross and upsell other Group Business products and services.
    • Maintain an integrated view of market trends and our  competitive positioning. Provide market intelligence reports and advise executive management on market directions and positioning.
    • Be a collaborative thought leader with regulators and industry mates in building businesses across the Fintech business landscape.
    • Collaborate with the customer support, operations, and settlement/Reconciliation team to ensure prompt resolution of issues/complaints and clients’ satisfaction.
    • Prepare periodic (weekly, monthly, quarterly) reports on sales achievements, pipeline deals, profitability, product performances, etc.
    • Relate with the digital marketing team to create/enhance brand thereby increasing product awareness, value understanding, and market penetration.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalents in social sciences/Humanities from reputable institutions. 6 - 8 years of relevant working experience in a similar role in the industry
    • Knowledge and working experience with the rollout of financial payment solutions.
    • Must have a personal bias and passion for financial payment solutions Skills
    • Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment and industry
    • The ability to confidently manage a high-performing team is essential.
    • Ability to communicate and make credible presentations at all levels
    • The ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms is essential.
    • Organizing, prioritizing, and multi-tasking are essential.
    • Presentation and negotiation skills are essential working conditions
