    HR Manager

    Job Summary:

    • We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to join our team in Asaba, Delta State, within the manufacturing industry.
    • The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of HR experience, including at least 5 years in an Indian company.
    • This role requires expertise in liaisoning with factory-related government agencies for compliance, handling unionized sectors, grievance management, disciplinary action procedures, and maintaining good industrial relations.
    • The candidate should also have thorough knowledge of payroll systems and be fluent in the local language.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • HR Management: Oversee all HR functions, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.
    • Liaisoning: Establish and maintain effective relationships with factory-related government agencies to ensure compliance.
    • Industrial Relations: Manage relations with unionized sectors, handle grievances, and implement disciplinary action procedures as necessary.
    • Payroll Management: Oversee payroll systems and ensure accurate and timely processing of salaries.
    • Compliance: Ensure all HR practices are in line with local labor laws and company policies.
    • Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
    • Training and Development: Identify training needs and organize relevant training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Experience: 10-15 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in an Indian company.

    Skills:

    • Proven experience in liaisoning with government agencies for compliance.
    • Strong experience in dealing with unionized sectors.
    • Excellent grievance handling and disciplinary action procedure skills.
    • Thorough knowledge of payroll systems.
    • Fluency in the local language.
