    Human Resources Director

    Responsibilities
    Strategic Planning and Recruitment:

    • Maintain strategic planning for recruitment and retention in each company department, facilitating exit strategies and recruiting procedures.

    Employment Policies:

    • Responsible for a company's employment policies. Act as the link between management and employees, ensuring all employment standards are met.

    Consultation and Advisory:

    • Provide specialist consultation to the company's management and executive team on strategic HR matters.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • Administer and manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews and benefits enrollment.
    • Monitor industry trends to maintain competitive offerings.

    Employee Benefits:

    • Assess employee benefits programs and provide improvement suggestions.
    • Communicate with brokers and vendors.

    Training and Development:

    • Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
    • Assess training needs, apply, and monitor training programs.
    • Report to management and provide decision support.

    Operational Management:

    • Develop and lead the administration of HR operational and employee service delivery functions, including compensation and benefits.
    • Ensure compliance with regulations, manage budgets, assess staffing needs, hire employees, design training programs, and develop compensation plans.

    Corporate HR Plans:

    • Develop corporate HR plans, support the human factor in the company, oversee HR initiatives, and ensure compliance with employment laws.

    Policy Enforcement and Compliance:

    • Ensure fair and consistent enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
    • Ensure the organization complies with all relevant labor laws.

    HR Processes:

    • Develop, incorporate, and manage various HR processes, policies, and procedures.

    Employee Relations:

    • Handle employee complaints, disputes, and other sensitive employee relations issues.
    • Manage recruiting and staffing.

    Communication and Leadership:

    • Create and deliver briefings to executives.
    • Oversee the organization's recruitment, interview, selection, and hiring processes.
    • Plan employee benefit and payroll programs.
    • Lead HR initiatives and provide guidance.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential.

    Policy Management:

    • Develop, update, and manage policies and procedures.
    • Develop organizational strategies by identifying and researching human resource issues.

    Requirements

    Skills and Attributes:

    • Leadership and communication skills.
    • Expertise in employment law and compliance.
    • Proficiency in managing compensation and benefits programs.
    • Discretion in handling sensitive employee relations issues.
    • Strategic thinking and high-level consultation abilities.
