Internal Audit Executive (FMCG) at Ascentech Services Limited

Purpose of the position

• To implement and carry out Internal Audit functions within the rice mill on a periodic basis and report findings and corrective actions to the management.
• Check and confirm long and short-term corrective and preventive actions are in place and these are adhered to.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess areas of significant business risk
• Implement best audit and business practices in line with applicable internal audit policy
• Manage resources and audit assignments
• Identify and reduce all business and financial risk through effective implementation and monitoring of controls
• Implement and maintain internal audit policies as developed and shared from the HQ in accordance with local and international best practices
• Compile and implement the annual internal Audit plan
• Conduct ad hoc investigations to identify reported risks
• Oversee risk-based audits covering operational and financial processes
• Ensure complete, accurate, and timely audit information / anomalies are reported to the Management and or Risk Committees
• Overall supervision of planned audits

Experience

• Minimum of 5 – 7 years’ experience preferably in Manufacturing Environment
• Prior working in an ERP / HRMS environment is preferred

Education

• Bachelor's Degree/ Business Administration or Social Sciences.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant from Nigeria
