Internal Auditor at Vatebra Limited

Strategic Responsibilities:

• Lead planned audits into the company, including organizing teams, inspecting accounts, checking compliance with applicable laws, detecting ineffective or inefficient practices and verifying financial records
• Organize and present meaningful detailed reports to communicate the results of an audit to company management
• Decide whether the company’s financial actions and policies reflect its intentions, and make judgment calls to improve the company’s trajectory if need be
• Research federal and state financial laws and examine the company’s books to ensure compliance, and inform management immediately if there is a discrepancy
• Verify assets and liabilities by comparing items to documentation.
• Comply with federal, state, and local security legal requirements by studying existing and new security legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
• Evaluate company inventory, records, worker statements, assets, payrolls, cash on hand, insurance, tax statements and annuities, and use the information to guide financial policy
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Operational Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee the auditing process
• Perform effective risk and control assessments
• Present audit findings and find ways to increase compliance and efficiency
• Track investments and maintain relevant cash reserves
• Ensure all expenses are within assigned project budget
• Review financial paperwork and procedures and make appropriate change
• Ensure data integrity in all financial reporting
• Review financial paperwork and procedures and ensure error-free documentation
• Coordinate periodical audits
